Catherine Flanigan, Jaqua

Catherine cash-claimed a quarter in 5, 4S 42W in 1891.   She also had a Timber claim started in the same township, but apparently it wasn't completed.

Kate J. Flanagan married Duncan McCormick Dec 22, 1886, recorded in Denver.  In 1900 Juab County, Utah, Duncan is a blacksmith born Oct 1856 in Canada, Katherine J. Aug 1865 Ireland, with  Mary A. April 1888 - Colorado,  Katherine J. Jan 1891 Colorado, then three kids born in Utah.

POSSIBLE - but hard to believe she had the time to pursue her claim, with Nellie born in 1889 in Kansas and Willie born in 1892 in Kansas.

She might be the Catherene "Flanagen" in 1885 Marshall County, Kansas, born about 1856 in Illinois.  She's married to James 33, with John 6, Julia 8, James 3, and Martin 1.

In 1905 Marshall County James is 53, "Catherin" 49, with Julia 27, J.L. 23, Mary 18, Nellie 16, Willie 12, and Kate 7.

In 1910 Marshall County "Cathrine" C. is 55, Julia 30, James 28, Mary 23, Bridget E. 21, Wm. P. 17, and Cathrine A. 12.
