John proved up two quarters in 13, 3S 48W in 1917, and Earnest next to him, also in 1917.
In 1900 Hitchcock County Nebraska, John, born Dec 1864 in Ireland, married twelve years to Anna W. (Canada/Scotland). They have Earnest E. May 1889, Sarah E. August 1890, unnamed son born Oct 1897, and Alexander McDonald, Anna's father, born in Canada Nov 1835.
In 1910 Franklin County, Nebraska, John "Stelin" is 44, Anna M. 42, Dennie A. 12, John F. 6, Alfondson A. 4, and Richard B. two months.
1911 "B.M. Wear, H. Moffat and John Stiles were Sterling business visitors the first of the week. "
John was a witness in 1912 for the claim of Edwin Foster, and in 1914 for the claims of Edward L. McDonald and Ory Lester.
John was called as a witness in the case of the State vs. W.T. Davis in 1914.
November 6, 1914 "Mr. and Mrs. John Stiles, of south of town, were called to McCook, Nebr., Wednesday evening by a message announcing the death of Mrs. Stiles' sister."
1915 "John Stiles, of south of town, went to Denver Wednesday with his young son, in order that the latter might receive medical attention."
John 55 - born in New Jersey ? and Anna M. 51, are in Yuma County in 1920 - Anna said she immigrated in 1880, and was naturalized in 1888. They have Alphonso, 14 and Richard B. 10, both born in Nebraska.
Anna M. Stiles, dying in 1928, and John Stiles, dying in 1929, are in the Yuma Cemetery. Also buried in Yuma is a "Son of John Stiles, 1916" That must be Dennie A. born 1898.

Richard B. Stiles, 20 is in Yuma County in 1930 - no occupation. In his household are Manson Uplinger, 62, Indiana, divorced, a lodger, and Alice Glover, lodger, 19, born in Colorado.
Richard Benjamin Stiles, born in Nebraska Feb 10, 1910, died in Twin Falls County, Idaho June 14, 1949.
Richard Benjamin Stiles. 35, Milner rancher, died Tuesday at his home, following a sudden illness. Born Feb, 10, 1910 at Bloomington, Neb.. he moved to Twin Falls in 1945 and his ranch at Milner the following year. He is survived by his widow, Ruth Stiles, and two daughters: Karen Virginia Stiles and Sarah Ann Stiles, Milner.
1942 Twin Falls "Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Stiles will be held Saturday at 3:30 at the Twin Falls mortuary chapel, Rev . A.W. Barberat officiating" This was Floyd Stiles' wife.

In 1930 in the Idaho State Penitentiary, Ada, Idaho is Allen A. Stiles, 24, born in Nebraska, father Ireland, mother Canada. He said he was married.
In 1932 Pocatello Allan A. Stiles (Florence) is listed at 337 W. Lander, with no occupation.
In 1940 Pima County Arizona, at the San Xavier hospital, Allen Stiles, 34, is an assistant engineer. He's married to Florence 46, born in Wyoming. They were in Bannock County Idaho in 1935.
A stone in the Pocatello cemetery has "Florence Kutch Stiles - Sept 23, 1894 - Nov 24, 1968 - MOTHER"

E. Earl Stiles, born in Hitchcock County, married Julia Bauer, born in Franklin County, March 9, 1910 in Trenton, Hitchcock County, Nebraska.
He's probably the Earl Stiles, 20, in 1910 Franklin County, Nebraska, with the Clanse Sievers family, married to 15-year-old stepdaughter Julia Stiles.
Earnest Earl Stiles registered in Yuma County, born May 16, 1889 at McCook, Nebraska, and had a wife and children.
In the 1920 Yuma County census, he's married to Mary E. 26, Nebraska. Julia B. 7, Nebraska, Oscar W. 5 and Mary E. 2, both Colorado.
Betty Lou Stiles married Albert H. Asnicar October 6, 1929, divorced May 5, 1950, and died in Denver Feb 15, 1988.
In 1930 Yuma County there's an Earl Stiles, same age, but wife is Julia, 35, Nebraska, with Anna 14, Donald 8, Jackie 5, and Lois 4, all born in Colorado.
Earnest Earl Stiles, who served in the 158th Infantry at Camp Kearney, California, died August 27, 1932, and his military headstone was shipped to Goodland, Kansas.
Looks like Julia married Floyd Braslin, and they're in Goodland, Kansas in 1940, Floyd a laborer for the WPA. Jack Stilis 16 and Lois Stilis are stepchildren to Floyd. Floyd was probably a cousin of the Bracelin girl who married a Gearhart (neighbors at Hughes)
Julia, born June 30, 1894, died July 22, 1993 - mother's maiden name Openlander. Three records in the California death index, one under Stiles, another "Bracekin", another "Stilesbracekin"

Hazel Turley on December 22, 1914 in Goodland, Kansas. OBITUARY-COQUILLE VALLEY FLOYD BRACELIN Funeral services are being held at two o'clock this afternoon, at Schroeder Bros. Mortuaries, for Floyd Bracelin, who died last Sunday, March 29, 1941, at a local hospital as a result of injuries received the Sunday before when he fell from the North Fork bridge. The accident happened about 100 feet from this end of the highway bridge and he dropped about 20 feet, suffering concussions and fractured bones. According to the reported story he was endeavoring to free the front end of the car from the bridge railing in which it was hooked and his two men companions did not know he had fallen until passing motorist got out a flashlight and saw him underneath the bridge. Floyd James Bracelin was born at Beattie, Kansas, May 24, 1894. He came to Coquille in April, 1940, and was employed at the Smith Wood Products Plant. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Julia Bracelin, and four children- Mrs. Hazel Bash, Coquille; Mrs. Bertha Kite, Oberlin, Kans.; Lawrence Bracelin, Coquille; Dale Bracelin, Yakima, Wash.; also by three step-children; and three grandchildren. A brother, Roy Bracelin, resides in Coquille, as does a sister, Mrs. Norma Hubbard. Another sister, Mrs. Irma Dunn, lives in Kansas. 1973

PEA RIDGE — Donald D. Stiles, 82, of Pea Ridge died Nov.
7, 2004, at Long Beach (Calif.) Memoral Medical Center. He was born Sept. 28,
1922, in Yuma, Colo., to Earl and Julia Bauer Stiles. He was a Marine veteran of
World War II, serving as a sergeant in the Pacific.
He was a supervisor for Hadley Auto Transport for 30 years in Pico Rivera,
Calif., and Long Beach. He retired to Pea Ridge in 1987. He was a life member of
Elks International.
Survivors include his wife, Rosie Stiles of the home; three daughters, Linda
Gale Hornback and husband Ray of Chilhowee, Mo., Vickie Lee Huard of Chino,
Calif., and Kathryn Lee Kreitzer of Long View, Wash.; two adopted daughters,
Berta Pinon of Temecula, Calif., and Kim Miear of Atlanta, Ga.; seven
grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge with the
Rev. Robert Fairchild officiating.
Flag presentation will be conducted by the Northwest Arkansas Honor Guard.
Entombment will be in Rogers Cemetery in the Serenity Mausoleum.

Maybe the Mrs. Frank Hall in the photo is Anne S. Hall in the Coquille cemetery -1915-1974 - on a stone with J. Frank -1906 - ?
She was born Nov 1, 1915 in Yuma County, married Edwin Irving Miller Nov 1, 1931, and was in Fort Collins in 1940. Edwin died in 1948. Their son James Atwell Miller 1932-1988 is buried in Grandview, Fort Collins.
The stone is the same style as Julia's
