In 1880 Denver O.B. Scobey is a life insurance agent, 34, married to Helen B. 30. They have Laura B. 7, Judson L. 4, born in Indiana, and Frederick Charles four months.

In 1895 "J. Scobey" was the linesman official at the State University / Manual Training School of Denver football game in Boulder.
In 1896 Judson is a clerk for the News, living at 1756 Grant. That's the same address as Orlando B., real estate.
In 1899 he was with some other members of the Colorado Gun Club at Terry Lake, Longmont - a Horace W. Cotton was drowned in a boating accident.
In 1900 Denver, Judson is married to Mary M., born Feb 1879 in Kansas, and they have Orlando L, June 1899.
In 1901 Denver Judson is a clerk, living with Orlando at 1540 Steele. Frederick also lives, there, a student.
Judson divorced Mary A. Scobey in Denver in 1901, and married Gladys A. Rogers June 17, 1903. She's probably the Gladys Annie Rogers born in 1884 in Prescot, Lancashire.

1903 Yuma News - "J.L. Scobey went to Denver Saturday."
1905 Yuma "Mr. Scobey and little grandson, of Denver, came down Friday evening and were out to Mr. Scobey's ranch near here for a few days, looking after Mr. Scobey's property interests."
Judson proved up two quarters in 24, 3S 48W in 1910. He immediately sold his two quarters to H.P. Jones.
He's in the Bijou precinct, Adams County, in 1910, with Gladys - married seven years. with Orlando L. 11. Matthew Rogers, 70, widowed father-in-law, is with them. (Gladys was with Mathew in 1900 Denver all born in England.
Matthew Rogers, Apr 13, 1840 - Oct 25, 1912, is buried in the Byers, Colorado cemetery.
In 1913 at the Loveland races he was second in the relay race. (a mile and a half, changing saddles each half mile) The winner made the race in 3:14 2/5
In 1915 Longmont "Jud Scobey" won the mile-and-one-half relay race in 1:03 1/2. The purse was $100.
He registered for WWI in Gunnison County, saying he was born March 2, 1876, was a stockman, nearest relative Gladys A. Scobey of Gunnison County.
In 1920 Gunnison County J.L. , 43, and Gladys 36 have O.L., now 20, and Stewart S. 3.

Parlin is in Gunnison County, where Judson registered. Stuart Strong Scobey, died 10/24/1925 is in the Gunnison cemetery B66 - L07 - P04.
In 1930 they're in Wheeling, West Virginia, both working at the fairgrounds stables. No children.
Helen B. Scobey's will was probated in Denver in 1937.

Gladys A. Scobey, born Jan 4, 1884, died Dec 21, 1967 in San Diego, mother's maiden name Smith. THIS ONE IS MORE LIKELY.
Orlando Livingston Scobey, born June 21, 1899 in Colorado, died Mar 17, 1980 in Stanislaus County, mother's maiden name McFarland.
Orlando had registered in Gunnison, saying he was working for "Scobey & Dodd" ranching.
