JERRY'S FAMILY
In 1860 Peoria County, Illlinois, Fanny Healy is 22, with Rufus Healy 50 a blacksmith and Elizabeth 48. Mary is 19, Eliza 18, Andrew 11, and Elizabeth 2.
Rufus died April 11, 1861, buried in Peoria County # 55315747.
Elizabeth was in Labette County, Kansas in 1880, 61, widowed, with Charles 18. They're living with daughter Mary J. Tharp, 38 and her husband William 55 and seven kids.
Charles, per one tree, 1830-1876 had two spouses.
Charles Percy's first wife Catherine Jane (Beaty) Percy 18321861.
Per one tree, Hugh was the son of Catherine, born October 30, 1861 in Ohio, dying March 23, 1892.
Fanny Healy and Charles Percy married in Peoria County June 21, 1863.
In 1870 Peoria County, "Chs Persey" is farming, 39, with Fanny 36, both born in New Jersey.
William is 16, Horace 14, Isabel 12 Hugh 10, - these four born in Ohio - Clark 8, Francis (Joseph F.) 4, and
Albert 2 - these three born in Illinois.
The census lists another Fannie as wife, 30, born in Indiana.
In 1870 Peoria County, the agricultural census had Charles with 40 acres, twenty improved,
20 woodland, valued at $600, four horses, four milk cows, and two other cows. He had raised 300 bushel of corn.
Possible sister of Jerry: Isabel "Persey" married Newton Ward in Ashatbula County, Ohio on December 20, 1870.
Charles Percy and Fannie Healy had Anna Luella Hampton on March 21, 1878 at Ravenwood, Missouri.
She married Bales A. Hampton, and died in Indian Creek, Mills County, Iowa February 26, 1939, to be buried in Emerson cemetery. Charles Percy was the informant.
Charles Percy and Fannie Healy had James Francis Percy
in Peoria, Illinois, who married November 26, 1901, age 35, in Kootenai County, Idaho, Clara White, age 20.
In 1880 Nodaway County, Missouri Jerry is 15, Joseph L. 12, Albert S. 11, James H. 8, and Annie Percy 5, mother Fannie Griffin 40, now married to Edwin Griffin 52, Farming.
David Griffin is 25, Edie 11, George 9, Asel 5, and Frances 3.
Jerry's brother William is in Nodaway County in 1880, 25, born in Ohio, with Carrie 21 born in Illinois. Jenie is 1.
Horace might be in Worth County, Missouri in 1880, 23 born in Ohio, with mary 17 born in ILlinois, and Joseph newborn in Illinois.
One possible relative " Elmer was the first of 4 children born to Jeremiah Clark Percy and Jennie C. Lowe Percy. Elmer was born November 4th, 1876 in Peoria, Illinois. Cora and Elmer had 3 children that I know of, Marion Clark born April 9th, 1907, Imo Jane born April 29th, 1911 and May (shown in this photo). I do not have the birth date for May, but she must have been born before April 7th, 1913, as that is the date of William M. Batson’s death. "

George Thurman married Mary Jane Ouderkirk on March 2, 1854 in Knox County, Illinois.
In 1870 Knox County, Illinois, George W. Thurman is 37, Mary 33, Marion 15, Eldora 12, Josiah 10, Ida 4.
Ida M. Thurman married Henry Edwards in Nodaway County, Missouri on June 2, 1883.
They had Mary R. Edwards on October 7, 1884 in Ravenwood, marrying Fred Newman, dying March 4, 1922 in Marshall County, Kansas.
Henry N. Edwards died October 26, 1886, buried in Nodaway County age seven months 23 days ?? # 9041902.
Clarence Albert Percy was born April 9, 1890 at Ravenwood Missouri, to Jerry Clark Percy born in Henry County, Illinois,
and Ima Thurman of Nodaway County, Missouri.

Ida M. Apr 1866 Illinois Clarence is 10, George 8, Charles 6, Arthur 2, and Forest E. 1. Her daughter Mary Edwards 15 born in Missouri is with them. Next household is Josiah Thuraman 40 and his wife Alice, also married eleven yeaars, with four kids.
In 1910 Mitchell County, Kansas, J.C. is farming, 45, with Ila M. 43, both born in Illinois,
Clarence 20, George 18, Paul 15, Arthur 12, Forest 11, Glenn 7 - all these kids born in MIssouri, Ruf 5 in Kansas.
In 1915 Marshall County, Kansas, J.C. is 50, Ida 48, Fred 19, Arthur 17, Forest 16, Glen 12, Ray 10, and Roy 4.
In 1920 Happyville precinct, Yuma County, J. Clark is 55, Ida 53, Forest E. 21, Glenn 17, E. Ray 13, and Roy 9, born in Kansas.
J. C. Percy died at his home near Happyville, Colorado, January 26, 1921 at 11 a.m.,
aged 56 years, 6 months, and 20 days. He was born in Peoria, Illinois
and moved when a small child with his parents to Nodaway County, Missouri,
near Ravenswood, where he lived on a farm until a young man. H went to Western Nebraska,
spending two years in the west.
He finally returned again to his old home in Missouri where he was united in marriage to
Mrs. Ida May Thursman of Ravenswood on June 27, 1880. He lived with his family in and
near Ravenswood until 1903 when he moved to Marshall County, Kansas, where he followed his occupation of farming until 1918, when he moved out west ,locating in Eastern Colorado near Yuma, from which place he passed to that long rest in the mansion prepared for him, that mansion not made with hands, eternal in the Heavens.
He became a member of Mound Chapel M. E. church near Blue Rapids, Kansas in 1915, and since has been a faithful and true Christian at last placing his fate in the hands of the maker with these words, "Thy will be done. Oh Lord," trusting in the Heavenly Father's love.
He leaves to mourn his loss his wife and eight sons, Clarence A. and Arthur C. of Imperial, Nebraska, George F. of Hapyville, Colorado, Charles F. of Beaty, Kansas, Forest, Glen, and Ray still at home, also one step-daughter, Mrs. Mary Newman, of Beaty, Kansas two sisters, Mrs. Ida Cotton of Imperial, Nebraska and Mrs. Luella Hampton of Taylor, Iowa; three brothers J. F. Percy, Kittitas, Washington; A. S. Percy, Long Beach, California; and J. H. Percy of Paxton, Nebraska; six grandchildren; and other relatives and a host of friends for to known him was to love him.
Funeral services were held at the home January 28, at 10 a.m. conducted by Rev. Davis. Interment was made in the Yuma cemetery, Yuma, Colorado.
The esteemed in which he was held was evidence by the large attendance of neighbors and friends at the funeral services. A number of appropriate songs were sung by a quartet of male voices, among which was the last one the deceased was heard to sing. it also being his favorite one, entitled "Oh. This is Like Heaven to Me."
He was a good father, a kind and devoted husband, and a true and constant friend, and will long be remembered as such by all who knew him

In 1920 Chase County, Nebraska, Clarence Percy is 29, farming, with wife Effie 33 born in Nebraska and son Leslie 4. Arthur, his borher 22, is with them.
In 1930 Chase County, Clarence is 40, wife Pearl 40 born in Nebraska, son Leslie O. 14 and Clark P. 9.
Clarence died November 15, 1951 in Owyhee County, Iowa, his residence in Homedale.
Leslie O. Percy 1915-1979 is buried in New Plymouth, Idaho # 15934208, with Louella (Munson) Percy 1912-2015.
In 1930 Ida M. is widowed, 64, living with sons Arthur C. 33 and Wilford R. 19 in Chase County, Nebraska.
Ida died in Chase County 1934, buried in Yuma # 74135886.

Mary Edwards, 19, born in Adita, Missouri to Henry Edwards and Ida Therman, married Fred Niemann, 24, of Maryville, Kansas,
in Marshall County, Kansas August 6, 1904.
Mary R. Edwards on October 7, 1884 in Ravenwood, marrying Fred Newman, dying March 4, 1922 in Marshall County, Kansas.
1906 Marysville, Kansas "Mr. and Mrs. Fred Neiman's baby is reported somewhat better at this recovery"
In 1910 Marshall County, Kansas, Fred Neiman is 30, Mary 24, with Kerry 3 and Ben 2, both born in Knasas.
In 1920 Marshall County, Fred "Nieman" is 39, Mary R. 35, Carrie J. 12, Bennie E. 11, Eda M.8, and Clarence F. 4.

W. Glen Percy married Louise M. Lowe on May 13, 1927, recorded in Washington County, Colorado.
GEORGE
George F. married Lucretia Bell Henderson on March 15, 1916 in Imperial. She was born June 3, 1896 at Imperial, dying July 6, 1983 in Puyallup, Washington. George died September 20, 1960.
August 16, 1951 San Bernardino "Mr. and Mrs. Lester Pickett, 228 North Orange street, were visited last week
by Mrs. Pickett's brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. George Percy of Puyallup, Wash.
Also visiting in Rialto were Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Percy of Tacoma, Wash. While here, they visited two other sisters
and their families, the Jack Rudes and Ralph Marbles of Fontana. A family gathering was held last Sunday at the
Rude home to celebrate the thirty-fifth wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Marble and Mr. and Mrs. George Percy.
During their stay, trips were taken to Mexico, Knott's Berry Farm, Long Beach and Hollywood"
August 5, 1954 Yuma "Mrs. George Percy of Tacoma, Washington was a guest last week at the home of her brother, Bert Henderson, and wife."
In 1970 Lucretia Percy of Puyallup, Washington attended the 60th wedding anniverery of the Bert Henderson's.
Lucretia was a surviving sister of Bert Henderson in 1979.

In 1930 Denver, Ray is a barber, 24, born in Kansas, with Velma 20 born in Nebraska. They're in a lodging house on 17th Street.

In 1940 Ray is a barber in Lincoln, Nebraska, 34, married to Grayce W. 25 born in Nebraska. He was in Superior Nebraska in 1935.
Grayce's sister Delia B. Felton 58, widowed, born in Nebraska is with them.
October 18, 1990, Phoenix Arizona "Edward Ray Percy, 85, of Peoria, a self-employed barber, died Oct. 16, 1990. He was born in Kansas and was a World War II Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Frances; one daughter; three sons; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Services: 2 p.m. Saturday, Lundberg's Mortuary, Golden Door Chapel, 11211 Michigan Ave., Youngtown. "
