James E. Jessup,  Heartstrong

In 1900 Franklin County, Missouri James E. Jessup is 16, with parents Edmond and Susan, sister Etty E. 21, and brother George W. 19.

1909 Yuma "James Jessup of Robertsville, Mo., registered yesterday at the Weld."

In 1910 Yuma County James E. and Luella are farming.

James Edward Jessup, born September 5, 1883 registered in Yuma, with wife Luella V. Jessup.

James proved up two quarters in 17, 1S 47W in 1916,

In 1920 Yuma County they're farming, with Susan 9 and James Jr. 7.

All four are still there in 1930, and still in Heartstrong - based on the neighbors.

Susan Jessup married Russell U. Niles Oct 23, 1936.

James is widowed in 1940 Yuma County, and James J. and his wife Thelma 18 are living with him.

James E. 1883-1975 and Luella V. 1876-1936 are buried in the Yuma cemetery,  James -dying in 1970 - is buried there, with no other Jessup's near his grave.
