Frank W. Brunt,  Heartstrong

In 1910 Hitchcock County Nebraska, Frank born Jan 1888 is with parents Lorenzo Dec 1849 New Jersey and Frances May 1857 Illinois.  Walter M was born Mar 1880 in Illinois, and Charlotte M. Oct 1883 in Illinois.

In 1910 Yuma County - in Heartstrong, based on the names of the neighbors, Frank BORONTE is 22, born in Nebraska, farming.

1900 "Frank Brunt gave a dance in their new house Thanksgiving evening all reported a good time as usual."

March 1911 "Frank Bronte built a house on his homestead this week."

April 1911 "Frank Bronte purchased a fine looking mare of Clarence Gilmore Thursday for $175.00."

June 1912 "Halie Endsley is farming for Frank Bronte now days."

1914 "Mrs. Prather left for Rochester, Minnesota, on Sunday evening's train, to visit Frank Bronte, who is a patient in a hospital at that place."

1914 "A letter was received from Mrs. Prather stating that Frank Bronte, who recently underwent an operation in a hospital at Rochester, Minnesota, was getting along nicely.  This will be good news to Frank's many friends in this vicinity."

Josie Prather had homesteaded near Frank, a widow, but she was a good-hearted soul, donating land for the Yuma North School., so she possibly was just a friend.

Frank proved up 320 acres in 23, 26 and 27, 1 S 47W in 1917.

He registered in Yuma County, saying he was born January 8, 1888 at Palisade Nebraska, and was running a moving picture location?

IIn 1922 Frank W. Bronte was delinquent on taxes for a lot in the town of Yuma (Original plat)

In 1923 Frank Bronte was delinquent on taxes for a quarter in 7 4N 48 (about thirty miles from his claim).

Frank W. BRANTE married Anna Witkowski March 14, 1923 in Golden, Colorado..

1928 Fire at Yuma Theater

Yuma, Colo. — An overheated furnace of the Gem, owned by Frank Bronte, caused fire damage amounting
to $2,000.

In 1930 Frank is running a theatre in Yuma, living on North Albany Street, married to Anna, with Robert L. 6 and William H. 4.

In 1934 the Yuma section of the county directory has William Witkowski, no occupation,.

In 1940 Frank is running a liquor store in Yuma, living on North Albany Street, married  to Anna, 36, born in Nebraska.  They have Robert F.  16 and William H. 14, both born in Colorado.

Frank Bronte Jan 8, 1889 - April 6, 1965 is buried in the Yuma cemetery.

Robert Bronte, born Oct 4 1923, with a ssn issued in Colorado, died September 19 1985 -in Harris County TX-  last address of Houston, Texas.

Liberty Texas 1962 "Mr. and Mrs. Robert F. Bronte and family and Mr. and Mrs. Browning Graham and family, former residents of Liberty, are now living in Metairie, La. Mr. Bronte and Mr. Graham are Gulf Oil employees and work in the Delta area office in New Orleans."

William Herman Bronte, born May 28, 1925 in Colorado, died June 6, 1981 in Sacramento, mother' s maiden name Witkowski.
