Based on children's birth places, the family moved from Iowa to St. Clair MO. bet 1898-1903 and to Iowa bet. 1910-1913, and to Mildred, Yuma Colorado bet 1913 and 1915, where Bessie was born and husband John died there May 21, 1915. Their daughter Ella/22 and family were still living there in 1920, along with daughter Grace/18 living with sister Ella. Ella has two infants buried in the small cemetery with her father, John.
