In 1900 Parker County, Texas Joseph Kos, 49, Josaphina 46, both born in Bohemia, have Matilda, 21 Bohemia, Julie 17, South Carolina, Jacob 14, Frank 11, John 9, Annie 7, and Mary 5 - the last five born in Texas.

March 1912 "Jacob Koss had a fine young horse killed by catching it with a rope a few days ago.  He had just bought the animal of Amos Binford."

June 20, 1912 "Frank Koss and Mrs. R.C. Kouba left for Weatherford, Texas, the latter part of last week in response to a telegram announcing the death of their father at his home there."

Frank Koss registered in Weatherford.

Jake proved up two quarters in 9, 3S 46W, in 1915, with witnesses David C. Bell, Charles C. Crago, Hugh J. McCauley, and Edward McCole, all of Happyville.

In 1920 Jake is living in Huerfano County, Colorado with his sister Eula Kouba and her husband Rube C.

Jake is in Parker County Texas in 1930, living with his brother John, sister Annie, and sister Mary, and in 1940 is still there, living with his nephew A.R. Kos.

Jacob Paul Kos - Oct 14, 1887 - Mar 14, 1950 is buried in Oakland Cemetery, Weatherford.

Frank J. Kos - Mar 14, 1890 - Jan 25, 1975 is also buried there

Eula Sevina "Julie" "Kos Kouba - March 17, 1883- Mar 20, 1950 is also there and FindAGrave says she died in Wray.
