In 1899, the Eckley Briefs column said "William Miller, A.E. Miller and Charlie McCarthy were Yuma visitors Monday."
The 1900 census of Eckley has a William Miller, born June 1849 in Prussia, single farmer. He said he'd been in the U.S. for 27 years. (so he possibly is the 34-year-old William Miller in the Lehigh County, Pennsylvania 1880 census, a laborer born in Prussia)
In 1909 "William Miller is hauling lumber for a new house."
He's in the 1910 Eckley census, with a birth in Germany.
In 1911
He might well be the William H. Miller who did a cash claim for a quarter in 4 N 46 W in 1891. and two quarters south of Eckley 2N 46W. One was a homestead, another a Timber claim, so the same person could have three quarters.
In the 1922 atlas he has 240 acres south of Eckley in 1N 46 W
William's not in the Yuma County 1934 or 1937 directories.
