Mr. Ellison died at about 6 o’clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J. A. Headland, 316 East Third street, where he had lived his later years. Mr. Ellison first came to America in 1872 from his native country, Sweden, where he was born on March 23, 1839. In 1905 he again left leadvllle on a visit to Sweden. He remained there till four years ago when he returned again to Leadvllle. his wife having died one year previously and he having a longing to see his remaining loved ones once more. After his return from this visit he had lived at his daughter's, Mrs. Mary Headland's at 318 East Third street. Mr. Ellison is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Nels. Lind of 409 East Third street and Mrs. Headland, one brother. Peter Ellison of 114 Oak street, and five grandchildren, Elmo Lind, Miss Ruth Lind, Master Vemer Lind and Carl and Alice Headland. |
