Jacob Jackson was born in Maryland 1822, Phoebe Harris in Ohio 1826.
In Warren County, Ohio, Wesley Methodist Episcopal Church was organized by Jacob Jackson, Joshua Thompson, and others, about 1846, and was a branch of the Butlerville church. The church is about one mile southeast of Level.
In 1860 Deerfield, Warren County, Jacob and Phebe A. have Mary A. 7, Irene M. 6, Chesterfield 12, M.C. 10 (must be Columbus), Kossath 9, and Rosetta O. 1.
In the 1870 census they have Columbus 20, Lewis 18, Irena 15, ROSETTA 11, Ida 9, and William 6. All the children were born in Ohio.
In 1880 they have only Ida D and William H.
Jacob 1899 and Phoebe 1896 are buried in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Warren County. Also buried there -

Olof Hjelm was naturalized in Rock Island, Illinois county court March 26, 1874 - so he might have arrived in 1869.at the latest.
Charles J. Hjelm, minor was naturalized there April 20, 1875., with Claus Jasper and Olof Hjelm as witnesses
The Hjelm's, with Charles and four sisters, are in Sutton, Clay County in 1885 (HYELIN in the index) Charles is an implement dealer.

William Jay Turner, who homesteaded in Clay County, Nebraska, in 1871, has been prominent in business affairs at Harvard for many years. He was born at Byron, Illinois, November 2, 1849, the son of Thomas Ezra and Martha Eline (Pier) Turner. His father, who was a teacher in private and public schools, was born at Montville, Connecticut, May 5, 1811, and died at Quasquote, Iowa, January 3, 1861; he served in the Iowa legislature in 1854; his English ancestors settled in Connecticut in 1649. His mother was born at Cooperstown, New York, March 7, 1816, and died at Quasquote, October 26, 1898.
Mr. Turner attended school at Quasquote. From 1876 to 1886 he engaged in the grain and lumber business, and from 1886 to 1892 was a farmer. .After eight years in the hardware business he retired. A Republican, he served as village trustee, and was the first mayor of Harvard. He was a candidate for the legislature in 1892. He is a member of the Red Cross and the Nebraskana Society, and for over 58 years has been an active Mason.
He married Eva Marie Hjelm at Harvard, July 14, 1896. Mrs. Turner was born at Christiania, Sweden, July 4, 1860, and died at Harvard, Nebraska, June 26, 1925. Two children were born to them, both of whom died: Pier, born March 17, 1898, who died March 27, 1898; and Eva June, born June 4, 1900, who died February 26, 1930. Residence: Harvard.

Charles J. Hjelm was issued a land patent October 19, 1890 for the southeast quarter of 6, 5N 45W on a cash claim. So Rosa finalized his claim after Charles' death in 1888..
Her brother Columbus L. Jackson filed for a cash claim in section 32, 6 N 45 W (about a mile north of Rosa's)
Columbus died in 1886 - and his heirs "proved up" that land September 23, 1890.
The marriage on December 3, 1891 in Warren County Ohio of Theodore Hageman and Rosa O. Hjelen was performed by R.S. Hageman (Ralph S was a brother of Theodore)
Rosa O. HjeHn was issued a patent in July 1899 for the northeast quarter of section 32, 6 N 45 W - this would be about a mile north of the 1890 quarter.- and it's in Phillips County.
In 1900 Warren County is Theodore Hageman October 1840 in Ohio, Rosa (born January 1859 in Ohio, Charles E. Hjelm 12, a Hattie Wright 17 servant.
In 1910 Theodore and Rosa have stepson Emmett (HJELTE in the index) 22, with no occupation - The index also says born in Ohio, but the writing says "Colo"
In 1920 Charles E. Jelm is in Akron, Ohio, married to Nelle, with Theodore E. eighteen months.

Rosa O. 1926 and Theodore Hageman 1919, and Charles Emmett 1938 and Nellie M. Jelm 1973 are buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Deerfield Township, Warren County.
Charles Emmett Jelm (Hjelm) died November 22, 1839 in Akron, Ohio - his residence was Wadsworth, Ohio, and he was a Physiscian / Surgeon. His spouse was Nellie. His death certificate said he was born November 13, 1887 in Holyoke, Colorado, to Charles Hjelm born in Sweden and Rose Jackson born in Ohio.
The 1940 census of Akron Ohio has Nellie, widowed, born about 1888, with Theodore 21, Charles R. 18, and Mary E. 16.
FAG has for Rose Hill Cemetery Emmett, Nellie Mae, and also Alma 2/3/1916 - 2/3/1916 and Loretta 4/12/1917 - 10/22/1918. It appears that Charles and Nellie had two daughters die in infancy.

Gazette,
"Columbus Lucien Jackson, son of Jacob and Phoebe Jackson, was born at
Socialville, Warren County, O., December 13, 1849. At the age of seventeen he
was, under the ministry of Father Stokes, converted to Christ. From thence he
was actively engaged in Christian work, class leader and Sunday-school
superintendent. During this period he was securing an education, teaching as
occasion offered, and studying in the meantime, finally graduating from the
scientific class of the National Normal University, at Lebanon, O., August 14,
1873
