Hanson L and Ella Friend came to Yuma County about 1920. In 1922 they had the west half of 22, 5N47W (near Clarkville)
Ella F. Friend
Great-granddaughter kimble DaCosta thinks the children are Dennis, Robert, Lora, and Mabel. Lora married Elmer Felderman.
Mabel married Harry Martin, and their son "Dee" Friend Martin was killed in 1943 in an AAF plane crash. "Dee" is buried in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
