1915 Donald Dermond was a claimant against George M. Rhoades, and in Eckley on July 14, 1915 George's McCormick binder, rake and mower, and his 4-secton steel harrow, two riding cultivators, 26 bushels ear corn, and one post auger were to be auctioned.
1916 "Don Dermond was visiting in Pueblo last week. Don don't seem to realize that we have plenty of good looking school marms close to home."
In 1920 L.S. Dermond owned a quarter in 28, 4N 46W, and D.H. Dermond a quarter in section 33.
Mack Leonard had proved up that section 33 quarter in 1899.
The 1920 census has Lewis S. , Eva , and Lucille.
The next household is Donald H., 28, with Edna Mar, 22, born in Colorado, Donald W. 1 and Richard R. two months.

In 1930 Donald and Edna are in Lewis County, Washington with the two sons. Donald is a carpenter.

Lucile is living alone in 1940 Yuma County, age 46. She never had a phone or television.

after a month's visit in the home of her aunt and uncle, Mr and Mrs, R. E Houghton"
Lucille died in 1983, and is buried next to her parents in the Yuma Cemetery.

1930 Chehalis Washington "Scouts Roger LeClerc, Medford Reed, John Bailor, Bob Sarks, Kenning Hogban and Donald Dermond, accompanied by Scoutmaster E. H. Robinson, made the trip to Olympia Friday night and attended the Camp Cleland rally and court of honor."

LIBBY - Richard Lee "Dick" Dermond, 84, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2005, at his home in Libby.
He was born Feb. 9, 1920, in Eckley, Colo., to Donald and Edna Watters Dermond.
He served in the U.S. Navy and Coast Guard.
He married Fern Tisher Fuller in 1972 in Centralia, Wash.
Survivors include his wife Fern of Libby; sons Richard Lee Dermond Jr., and Michael Ray Dermond, both of Washington; seven stepchildren; 31 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
A brother preceded him in death.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Libby. Interment with military honors will be at the City of Libby Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday at Nelson & Vial Funeral Home and from noon to service time Tuesday at the church.

Ira L. Dermond is a member of the Holyoke Colorado Masonic Lodge in 1888. Early in the spring of 1890 the following brothers made application to the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of A. F. & A. M. of Colorado for dispensation to form a Lodge at Holyoke: I. W. Waite, R. E. Webster, G. R. Ellis, J. R. Williams, C. M. Pickett, W. C. Boggs, E. Wartenbe, A. B. Pollock, A. T. Guthrie, R. R. Blair, I. L. Dermond, J. Bryant, G. E. Clark, A. B. Best, W. Clemmons, A. J. Baker, E. N. McPherrin, E. S. Dakan, M. A. Snyder. Logan Lodge No. 70 at Julesburg was the Mother Lodge.
On April 18, 1890 this group met in the K. of P. Hall above what was known as the Tinkel Building in Holyoke. The dispensation to form a Lodge, signed by Most Worshipful Grand Master William T. Bridwell was read. He had appointed I. W. Waite, Worshipful Master; R. R. Blair, Senior Warden, and R. E. Webster, Junior Warden. I. W. Waite, W.M., with the consent of the members, appointed 1. L. Dermond, Sec.; A. T. Guthrie, Treas.; E. S. Dakan, S.D.; G. R. Ellis, J.D.; G. E. Clark, S.S.; J. R. Williams, J.S.; E. Wartenbe, Tiler.
At the Annual Communication of the Grand Lodge, September charter was granted. The first communication of Holyoke Lodge No. 81 was held October 3, 1890.
The early records are descriptive of many trials and tribulations, trials in the Lodge room and tribulations of the brethren at large. Until 1905 Holyoke was the division point of the C. B. and Q. Railroad, during that year it was moved to Sterling. This was a severe blow to the Lodge and town. In February of 1911 the Lodge suffered a fire and many of the early records were destroyed. Despite these setbacks Holyoke Lodge made a steady growth in members and lodge activities. They assisted the Grand Lodge in laying corner-stones of several schools and County Buildings and were active members of the North Eastern Colorado Masonic Association.
In 1951 plans were made for a Temple and on February 9, 1952 the cornerstone was laid. During the construction period the members assisted in various ways and in September, 1952, Holyoke Lodge met in its own Temple. It was dedicated April 11, 1953 by the Grand Lodge with Most Worshipful Grand Master Hubert Glover presiding. The Temple cost $20,000.00 and was dedicated clear of debt. Holyoke Chapter No. 105, O. E. S., deserves much credit for assistance with the furnishing of the Temple.
Holyoke Lodge No. 81 has experienced a normal growth since the erection of the Temple and there is a genuine feeling of Brotherly Love and a fine sprit of cooperation among the 135 members.

1889 Holyoke "I.L Dermond is building a brick residence in the south part of town."
I.L. Dermond was head of the Immigration Committee of the Holyoke Board of Trade in 1889.
Ira had a store in Beaver Crossing Nebraska , born August 23, 1846, a drummer in the Civil War, and died April 24, 1918., buried at Beaver Crossing.
1899 "The business house of I. L. Dermond & Co. was set on fire Saturday night by a hanging lamp, but the flames did not get under good headwaay owing to prompt work by the fire department."
In 1900 Seward County, Nebraska, I.L Dermond born August 1846 and L. I. his wife born January 1851 in Oho, have no children.
In 1910 Seward County, Ira L. is 64, "Lura" 59.
1914 "The amount of business Beaver Crossing is doing I am unable to state, but feel safe in saying that it is still doing a good "cross roads" business. There are many excellent men in the different branches of business and some of the other kind too, just like any other town. I. L. Dermond is still in the mercantile trade and conducting it in the manner he has for twenty years;"

Delaware County Ohio "JONES, CALEB O. born in 1855
Appointed Policeman April 19, 1897
Transferred to Fire Dept. in May 1898
Mr. Jones worked for a while on a farm and some time in a flouring mill. He moved to Delaware in 1890 and was appointed Policeman on April 19, 1897. He served in this position until May of 1898, when he appointed to the Fire Department and became a driver of the hook and ladder truck. In May 1903, Mr. Jones became the first full time paid Fire Chief. He served in this capacity until October of 1906. Some time after leaving the Fire Department Mr. Jones became a mail carrier. Mr. Jones married Miss Ophelia Dermond and had three children by 1901. Mr. Jones died in 1920 and is buried on lot 11 in the Prospect Hill section of Oak Grove Cemetery.
