Jonathan Wright, Lucinda Wright, Austin P. Wright

Lucinda cash-claimed a quarter in 24, 5N 47W in 1891. She also had applied for a cash claim in 5N 47W, but it wasn's completed.

July 1896 Rocky Ford "Mrs. Lucinda Wright of Denver leased the Swink hotel and will take possession at once. As Mrs. Wright has kept hotel for a number of years and always been successful we shall expect the Swink house to have a season of permanent prosperity. Mrs. Wright is a sister of Mrs. S. J. Greear."
"Lucy Jane Wright was born in Simpson County, Ky., August 19, 1846, and departed from this life at her home in Truxton, Mo., Monday morning, December 22, 1930. She had reached the age of 84 years, 4 months and 3 days. She was married to Henry Gibson. To this union five children were born: William H., now of Mexico; John F., who preceded her in death March 13, 1902; Sarah F., now Mrs. Geo. H Sanders, of Quincy, Ill.; Mary J., now Mrs. C. E. Kinion, of Silex, James R., now of Anadarko, Okla. Her first husband, Mr. Gibson, died May 6, 1875. After four years of widowhood, she was married to Anthony Monroe, October 23, 1879. This union was blessed with just two daughters, Cora B., now Mrs. R. F. Jennings, of New Truxton; and Rebecca Frances, Mrs. Leslie Wombles, who passed away January 3, 1923. Besides her aged husband and five children, she leaves 24 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, 1 sister, 2 brothers, and a host of other relatives and friends who will greatly miss her."


1896 Rocky Ford, Colorado "Rev. W. F. Greear will abandon house keeping and make his home at tho Swink House, kept by his sister-in-law, Mrs. Lucinda Wright."



Austin P. Wright cash-claimed a quarter in 25, 5N 48W in 1891, Next to Ralph E. Reese's claim in 1919.

Austin, of Logan County, Colorado, executed a note to Henry J. Aldrich in 1889, and that quarter was to be sold at Denver on June 1908.

" Juliet Frances Wright (born Perry) was born in 1839, in Kentucky, and married Austin P. Wright. Austin was born on April 23 1844, in Simpson County, Kentucky.
They had 2 daughters: Ruth Ella Barnes and one other. Juliet passed away in 1890, at age 50. She was buried in Kentucky."

Austin P. Wright died June 25, 1907, a Master mason of the New Salem Lodge, Simpson County, Kentucky.

Ruth, born August 5, 1869, died March 19, 1940 in Simpson County, to be buired in Salem Cemetery.

Austin had a brother John W. Wright, a farmer, born August 17, 1846, dying in Simpson County July 25, 1911.

Stephen M. Reece and Isabelle Wright married on Dec 24, 1874 in Hancock County, Illinois.

Jonathan S. Wright cash-claimed a quarter in section 5, 5N 48W in 1891.
1894 Pueblo Colorado "Rev. Mr. Wilson, a brother of our esteemed sister, Mrs. Jonathan Wright, was with us at the morning service and impressively led the worshippers in their principal prayer. He is pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church of Ottumwa, Iowa, and is on his way to California for his health."
