Jonathan Wright, Lucinda Wright, Austin P. Wright
Lucinda cash-claimed a quarter in
24, 5N 47W in 1891. She also had applied for a cash claim in 5N 47W, but it wasn's completed.
July 1896 Rocky Ford "Mrs. Lucinda Wright of Denver leased the
Swink hotel and will take possession at once. As Mrs. Wright has kept
hotel for a number of years and always been successful we shall
expect the Swink house to have a season of permanent prosperity. Mrs. Wright is a sister of Mrs. S. J. Greear."
"Lucy Jane Wright was born in Simpson County, Ky., August 19, 1846, and departed from this life at her home in Truxton, Mo., Monday morning, December 22, 1930. She had reached the age of 84 years, 4 months and 3 days.
She was married to Henry Gibson. To this union five children were born: William H., now of Mexico; John F., who preceded her in death March 13, 1902; Sarah F., now Mrs. Geo. H Sanders, of Quincy, Ill.; Mary J., now Mrs. C. E. Kinion, of Silex, James R., now of Anadarko, Okla.
Her first husband, Mr. Gibson, died May 6, 1875. After four years of widowhood, she was married to Anthony Monroe, October 23, 1879. This union was blessed with just two daughters, Cora B., now Mrs. R. F. Jennings, of New Truxton; and Rebecca Frances, Mrs. Leslie Wombles, who passed away January 3, 1923. Besides her aged husband and five children, she leaves 24 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, 1 sister, 2 brothers, and a host of other relatives and friends who will greatly miss her."
