Arminda Pickering 16, born in Illinois, married Ira A. Waterman 29, born in New York to Thomas Watterman and Sarah Horngren on July 1, 1884 in Phelps County, Nebraska.


Ira is in Phelps County in 1885, a laborer, single, 42, boarding in a hotel..

In 1885 Phelps County, Nebraska, A. L. Pickering is 45, Hannah 35, Arminda 17, Caroline 13, I Albert 11, Imogene 9, Hiram 5, Lottie 3, and Ross 1.
Abel Lewellen Pickering 1839-1916 is buried in Siloam Springs, Arkansas # 54187822.
Hannah Jane (Anthony) Pickering 1849-1929 is buried in Independence, Missouri # 79290225.

Arminda Waterman cash-claimed a quarter in section 13, 5N 48W in 1891.


On October 13, 1892, in Phelps County, Nebraska, Arminda Waterman, 24, daughter of Abel Pickering and Hannah J. Anthony, married Richard R. Owens 34, son of Jessie Owens and Maria Stewart. Both were born in Illinois.

Richard is in Macon County, Illinois in 1910, a lumberman, married but no spouse, boarding with the John Eaton family. He was born August 1858 in Illinois.

He's in Macon County in 1920, age 61, married to Vicia 49 with son Ernest 32. Vicia's mother Elizabeth Hall77 is with them, born in Tennessee.

Richard died June 20, 1930 in Macon County, born August 3, 1858 in deewitt County.
He's buried in Macon County # 24184997, with Vicia A. 1870-1953.

Richard apparently had married Emma Knott on December 24, 1883 in Macon County "Mrs. Jessie E. Moyer, 76, of Decatur died Jan. 21, 1964 at St. Vincent's Memorial Hospital at Taylorville where she had been a patient for three days.
Mrs. Moyer moved to Decatur from Maroa in 1927. She had resided at Meadow Manor in Taylorville since August.
She was born near Maroa May 15, 1887, daughter of Richard and Emma Knott Owens. In 1904 she married Roy L. Moyer in Clinton. He died Jan. 25, 1925."

One tree said Arminda "Mindy" Wright, born August 19, 1868 in Fulton COunty, died February 12, 1910 in Macon County, Illinois.
BUT Armanda Wright, widowed, 62, is in Bond County, Illinois in 1930.

She's in Mulberry Grove, Bond County, in 1940, 72, widowed.

In 1910 Macon County, Illinois, Charles M. Wright is widowed, 48, with Nelie 18, Goldie 16, Vola 8, Dorothy 3, and Charles 1.

CHARLES

Charles, married Zepha L. Overholser on December 17, 1936, in Hamilton, Indiana. She was born December 21, 1914 in Farmington, Indiana (SHOULD BE FARMINGTON, IOWA) to Ora Overholser and Mary Linerode.

Charles A. Wright, born October 29, 1908 in Illinois, mother's maiden name Pickering, died June 2, 1962 in Sacramento County, California.
Zepha died in Los Angeles County on August 13, 1986.

DOROTHY

Charles Marion Wright and Arminda Pickering had Dorothy Edith on May 15, 1907 in Illinois, who died July 28, 1983 in Boone County, Indiana, widow of Lewis Conrad.
Dorothy is buried in Montgomery County, Indiana # 26983015.
"Dorothy was the wife of Louis Conrad. For many years she worked at her husband's Shell service station in Darlington, Indiana keeping books. She had a daughter, Betty (Gilliatt) and a granddaughter, Teresa (Sutherlin)and two great grand-daughters, Michelle and Tiffany. She had a great joy for life and loved to entertain."

VOLA

Vola Beatrice McCarthy, born Dec 6, 1904 in Macon County, Illinois, died May 2, 1996 in Sacramento County, California. In 1950 her name was Forshey, and in 1955 McCarthy.
