Gustaf E. Stenberg, 27, a shoemaker, arrived in Philadelphia on the Friesland on March 20, 1904.
Johanna is 25, Gertrude E. 2, Gustaf O, and Oskar A., both 3, all born in Sweden.
Anna S. Stalstrom, 56 is a domestic, Klas A. Johnsson 26 is a laborer.
In 1910 Yuma County, Gust Stenberg is 33, married ten years to Freda 34,
both born in Sweden. Lizzie is 10, Ole 8, and Alva 6,
all three born in Colorado. Freda's mother Annie S. Johnson 62, widowed, is with them.
Gustaf proved up a quarter in section 14, 5N 48W in 1911.
Next to him, also in 1911, Sophia A. Johnson proved up a quarter in section 11.
Sophia Johnson was granted a rebate on county taxes for that quarter in 1914.
Gustaf was delinquent on taxes for that quarter in 1916.
In 1920 Yuma County, Gus "Steinberg" and Freda are both 43,
with Lizzie 19, Gustaf O. 17, Oscar O 15, Anna M. 11, Esther V. 8,
and Ruth C. 13 months.
Sophia Johnson is in Yuma County in 1920, on the next census page, 71, widowed, immigrating in 1894...
The Yuma cemetery records have Sophia Johnson, dying 1923 in the Original section, block 217. That's between the Hanna family and the Nels Peterson family.
The tombstone says 1848-1923 # 50842404.
Gust E. Stenberg was the administrator of
the estate of Anna Sophia Johnson, deceased, advertised in 1922 and 1924.
In 1930 Gus 53, Freda 54, Lizzie 30, and Oscar 26 are in Rawlins County, Kansas.
Gus 63, Alfreda 64, and Elizabeth 40 are in Holdrege, Nebraska in 1940.
Gustaf 1876-1964 is buried in Holdrege # 36358332.
So is Alfreda 1876-1977 # 36358383.
AL
Oscar Alvar "Al" is buried in Des Moines, Iowa, dying in Holdrege 1903-1996 # 99217719.
ANN
Anna Maria Stenberg graduated from Yuma High School in 1928, one of 28 girls and 11 boys.
In 1958 Ann Stenberg Cook was living in Wyaconda, Missouri.
July 1960 
Ann Cook was in National City, California in 1964.
"FJARLI—Ann M. (Stenberg) Cook, 97; born July 10, 1908, Bryant, Colo.; died May 21, 2006, St. Helena, Calif. Surviving: stepson, Merlin W., Medford, Ore.; Delmer D., Angwin, Calif.; stepdaughter, Taffy Johnson, Scio, Ore.; 11 step-grandchildren, 28 stepgreat-grandchildren and 5 stepgreat-great-grandchildren."
Anna is buried in Medford, Oregon # 62158176.

Gertrude Elizabeth Stenberg 1900-1999 is buried in Holdrege # 36357914.
RUTH
In 1940 Los Angeles, Louis F. Schaffer is a mechanic,
40, born in Wisconsin, married to Ruch C., a dishwasher in a restaurant,
33 born in Colorado, with Marion M. 15 born in Illinois.
Mrs. Louis Schaffer was in Arlington, Washington in 1964.
Louis F. Schaffer, 75, died in Everett, Washington on June 1, 1975.
Ruth, 93, died in Snohomish County February 8, 2000.
OLIVE
Olive, a nursemaid, 18, is boarding in 1930 Denver.
Olive was in Rutherford, New Jersey in 1964.
