RINN--Near Longmont, Tuesday, February 21, 1899, of bowel complaint, Hugh Samuel, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Rinn, aged 3 weeks.
The funeral was held at the house about four miles from Longmont, on Thursday, and the burial at the Longmont cemetery

In1900 Weld County Samuel is a merchant, born May 1863 , and Mary June 1866 have been married nine years - all three of their children have died.

In 1910 Weld County Samuel and Mary have Lucille Hitchings, 7, a cousin with them .  Sam is a "country store keeper."
In 1920 Samuel E. and Mary are in Weld County, with"Elner" Wilson, nine year old cousin.

In 1930 Weld County Mary S. Rinn,  widowed, born i Pennsylvania, is living along.

Samuel 1863-1920  and Mary 1863-1930 are buried in Mountain View cemetery, Longmont

Mrs. Elvira McCartney Furman, died, of cancer of the stomach, from which she had been a sufferer for three years, at her home near Deckers Point, on Thursday, March 12, 1896, aged 66 years and 8 months. During her long and continued illness the grace of her Christian character was beautifully illustrated. Her sufferings were intense, but she endured them with Christian resignation. It was our privilege to be personally acquainted with the deceased for many years, and take pleasure in bearing testimony concerning her useful life. §he was a lady of more than ordinary intelligence and refinement, possessing the rare gift of making all "her associates happy. In sickness and sorrow she was a ^ministering angel to her friends and neighbors. She was loyal to her Master, taking every opportunity to recommend her Saviour to her associates. Early in life she united with the Baptist church and discharged her duties faithfully in all of the operations of the congregation to which she was attached. She is survived by a husband and five children. The children are Mrs. Hugh Roberts, of Martintown; Mrs. Samuel Rinn, Longmont, Colo.;

RINN – 1896 Ghost Towns In Weld County

1908 :Jacob Rinn, wife and daughter of Platteville and Ovid Webb and wife of Estes Park were in attendance at the funeral of the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. C.J. Rose Sunday afternoon."

In 1909 Jacob Rinn, a farmer at Rinn, was a juror on a trial in Fort Collins.

Jacob A. Rinn was born March 1, 1866, and died January 15, 1928.  He married Alice M. - March 29, 1867 - July 23, 1932 -

Both are buried in Mountain View,  So is son James L. 1892-1957 and his wife Florence Lural 1892-1954, and son Roy N 1895-1990 married Oct 20, 1919 t Tyra M. 1897-1988.

One post "Eliza Elizabeth Howearth's sister married Jacob A Rinn in PA, in Indiana Co., PA and in 1891 she,Margaret Alice,known as Alice, moved with him to Colorado. They had 3 children. Two boys and a girl. The girls name was May and reportedly she married a man named Foster."

RINN--At the home of his son, S. E. Rinn, at Rinn, Monday, November 23, 1908, of old age, Lewis Rinn, aged 78 years.
Mr. Rinn, for whom the postoffice of Rinn was named, was born in Germany in 1830 and came to America when only three years old. He spent most of the time in Pennsylvania, but about twenty years in Colorado. His wife died fourteen years ago. He leaves four sons and two daughters.
Funeral services were held at the Baptist church Wednesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. C. J. Coulter 
 16 Dec 1908 - Indiana Weekly Messenger - LEWIS RINN. LEWIS RINN, a former resident of Grant township and a brother of Mrs. Samuel Bence, of Dixonviile, died recently at Longmont, Col. When Mr. Rinn went west for his health he first located at Fort Collins. He is. He is survived by four sons, all living in Colorado, and one daughter, Mrs. Oaldwell, of Shelocta, this county.
 

Lewis S. Rinn and brother James D. Rinn are in Weld County - same precinct at the rest - in 1900.

The Lewis S. Rinn who homesteaded two quarters in Elbert County in 1915 is probably the same one

Lewis S. Rinn married Tilly Calkins in Denver April 29, 1903

Roy Nelson Rinn married Tyra Marie Nesmith in Greeley on October 20, 1919.

James Lewis Rinn, 27 married Florence Lund Wright, 26 in Greeley June 24,1919
