1915 "G. W. Kee sold his residence property in Loveland this week to Henry Reichert, who has been living on the Knapp place north of town. Mr. Reichert and family expect to remove to Loveland about February 1."

Jacob Hust was born at Rohrback, South Russia. In the year 1877 he came to America and settled at Sutton, Nebraska. On Dec 9, 1879 he was united in marriage to Christina Reichert and to this union 7 children were born; Leha, Lydia, Wilhelm, Martha, Albert, Arthur and Leon. Hie wife, Christina passed away Oct 7, 1906. In March, 1907, Mr. Hust moved to Imperial and settled on a farm there and married Mrs. Sophia Kauk. She preceded him in death on May 21, 1924. He again was united in marriage to Mrs. Magdalene Reichert on Dec 26, 1924. In 1928, he returned to Sutton from Imperial.

Lincoln, Nebraska, February 4, 1941 "Services were held Monday at the Emmanuel Reformed church for Mrs. Magdalena Hust, 78, long - time Sutton resident, who died last Friday. The Reverends Paul Treager and H.K. Hartmann officiated and interment was in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Hust came to this country from Russia in 1884 and immediately came to Sutton. Her first husband, Henry Reichert died in 1923. She married Jacob Hust a year later. Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, Henry and Edward Reichert of Greeley, Colorado and Albert Reichert of Loveland, Colo.; one daughter, Mrs. Frieda Miller of Loveland; three sisters; six step-children; 27 grandchildren and six great grand"

Olinda Christine Reichert and Paul Lorenz were married on Feb. 14, 1935, and dairy farmed in Weld County, CO, for many years. She was a member of the Christian Church of Greeley, CO. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul in 1981; son, Marvin Lorenz; her parents; two brothers, Wilmer Reichert and Herb Reichert; and one sister, Nora Libsack.

EDWARD

December 29, 1921 Loveland "Irwin Reichert, age 9, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Reichert, died at 6 o'clock Tuesday morning, following a prolonged illness."

1955 " Mrs. Emma Nighswonger and her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Reichert, left Thursday for San Francisco, California. Mrs. Nighswonger expects to visit with the Reicherts and also in Tacoma, Washington. She will be gone two or three weeks. "

1961 "Mrs. Esther Focht has returned from a six weeks' tour of Hawaii. With her daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Hott of Pagosa Springs and a niece. Miss Kay Raile of Denver Mrs. Focht visited the islands of Oahu, Kauai and Hawaii. She stayed at the Reef Hotel on Waikiki Beach during her stay in Honolulu. The group visited Mr. and Mrs. Alden Brownlee in Honolulu. Mrs. Brownlee was a bridesmaid of Mrs. Hott and the couple is stationed with the Navy there. Enroute to Colorado the group visited Mrs. Ed Reichert, Mrs. Focht's sister, in Modesto, Calif., and several nieces. Before returning to Estes Park, Mrs. Focht spent several days in Pagosa Springs."

August 2006 "Lavone Esther Edwards was born in St. Francis, Kan., to Edward and Christina (Miller) Reichert. She and her sister LaRue were the third set of twins born to her parents. The Reicherts left the family farm in Kansas in 1935 and moved to the Greeley area, where Mrs. Edwards graduated from College High School in 1944. While in high school, she met her future husband, Verlie W. Edwards, an Army sergeant stationed in Cheyenne. They were married Sept. 9, 1944, in Greeley and celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary last year. Mr. Edwards died Feb. 19, 2006. In 1946, their twin children, Lonnie and Lana, were born.
Mrs. Edwards and her husband were co-owners of Woody's Cafe, Bake-O-Nut Cafe and the Greeley Smorgasbord. She worked at Woody's Cafe until 1964 when she opened the Greeley Uniform Shop, a business she operated for 20 years. After her retirement, she and her husband enjoyed winter in Mesa, Arizona. During the last year, Mrs. Edwards thoroughly enjoyed serving as a volunteer at North Colorado Medical Center where she recently was honored for the number of hours she served.
Mrs. Edwards died Sunday at Hospice and Palliative Care of Northern Colorado inpatient unit in Greeley after a short bout with cancer.
Survivors: A daughter, Lana Weinland and husband Don of Fort Collins; a son, Lonnie Edwards and wife Barbara of Greeley; three sisters, Loretta Nipper of Modesto, Calif., LaRue Olson and husband Hal of Reno, Nev., and Inez Simas and husband Manny of Modesto; four grandchildren, Kristi Murray and husband Chuck of Longmont, Scott Edwards and wife Shari and Kraig Hubband and wife Jennifer, all of Rifle, and Sam Musgrave and wife Kathryn of Trabuco Canyon, Calif.; six great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Vera Burbach of Greeley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by: Her husband, her parents, a sister Leona and brothers, Irvine, Leon and Loren.
Services: Celebration of life, 1 p.m. Friday at the Allnutt Funeral Service Macy Chapel. Cremation.

Inez Marie Simas (Reichert) was born in Kansas on April 6, 1935 to Edward and Christina Reichert. Inez passed away at the age of 84 in Modesto, CA on October 1, 2019 surrounded by her family. Before being married to Manuel Simas for 32 years Inez had two children; Debbie Davis Holmes of Waterford and Daniel (Janet) Holmes of Woodbridge. After marrying Manuel the family had grown, she gained 3 step-children and their spouses; Mike (Michelle) Simas, Matt (Shelly) Simas and Michelle (Matthaus) Dengler. Inez had 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Inez is proceeded in death by parents Edward and Christina, her siblings Leon, Leona Mitchell, Loretta Nipper, Loren, Lavon Edwards, Larue Olson and Irvin. Inez was a former business owner of Allens Ambulance and medical supply in Livermore. She became an Executive Secretary for Simplot Inc. in Lathrop, CA. Inez was also a long time member of the Livermore and Pleasanton Elks Club. Her two main hobbies in life she enjoyed were bowling and she loved to travel in her RV with her beloved husband.
A service will be held on November 1, 2019 at 11 A.M. located at CrossPoint Community Church. The address is 1301 12th st, Modesto, CA 95354. Inez's final resting place will be at Acacia memorial Park in Modesto, CA.

Frieda R. Miller, 91, died in a local nursing home. She was the daughter of Henry and Magdalena (Peter) Reichert. She married Jacob F. Miller, Nov. 21, 1911, in Berthoud, CO. She was a homemaker and helped her husband farm in St. Francis, KS, until moving to Loveland, CO, in 1937. She was a member of Chapter One American War Mothers.
She is survived by 4 sons and 2 daughters.
