Charles B. Nobles

Charles cash-claimed a quarter in 34, 5N 47W in 1890, then proved up a homestead adjoining it in 1895, then another quarter in 1895 on a timber claim.

He might be the C. B. Nobles in 1860 Obion County Tennessee, age 3 , and there in 1870 with A. W. 49 and Nancy 15.  Charles B., is 12.

In 1880 Dunklin County Missouri Charles B. Nobles is with the S.R. Steele household. (Charles' brothers John and Absolom had also moved to Missouri)

If the "Charles Noble, car repairer" at the railroad in 1891 McCook is the same one (a carpenter), then he could have cheap transport to file and maintain his claims.

More likely is the Ohio Charles B. Nobles. born 1833.  In 1870 he's 37, married to Sarah 34, with daughter Lula 8, and his parents Charles 74 and Sarah 75 Nobles are with them.

In 1880 he's in Meigs County, married to Sarah, with daughter Lula M. and mother Sarah F. Nobles.

1900 Plattsmouth Lulu N. Humphrey filed for divorce against W.A. Humphrey  "demurrer was sustained so far as setting aside the divorce, but overruled as to alimony."

In the same Rutland cemetery is a Charles B. Nobles - no dates and a MARY STANSBURY NOBLES May 24, 1825 - July 24, 1880.  (Wife of Ira)  Wonder if two Nobles boys married Stansbury girls.
