February 4, 1915 "Mrs. C. A. Kelsey and eldest son were found dead
at their home thirteen miles southeast of Holyoke early this morning
by neighbors who went to their home, and Mr. Kelsey and youngest baby
were found unconscious. Dr. Smith was called to the home to make
an examination and furnish medical assistance and
reports that it was ptomaine poisoning. As we go to press
it is thought that Mr. Kelsey and youngest son
will recover from the effects of the poisoning."
