Rudolph was delinquent on taxes for that land in 1904.

Rudolph John Hayek, 3030 Bever Ave SE,
a Cedar Rapids employee for 30 years before his
retirement, died on his 60th wedding anniversary
Sunday following a long illness.
Born Sept 2, 1887 at Wilbur, Neb, he was
married to Anna May Schultz May 3, 1910 in Cedar
Rapids. Surviving in addition to his wife are a
daughter, Mrs. Shirley Frey of Los Angeles;
a brother, Judge Victor Hayek of Altadena, Calif;
a sister Mrs. Lillian Luse of Laguna Beach Calif,
and 5 grandchildren.
Memorial services: Turner Chapel East at 10:30 am Thursday by Dr John Jensen of First Lutheran Church. Burial: Cedar Memorial."
