William H. Ingraham -March 26, 1844- June 24, 1908 is buried in Wyuka Cemetery, Lincoln - bet Letitia and Samuel are buried there, too.
In 1910 Samuel, 23 is with Letitia 60 in Lancaster County. Verner, 28, Minnesota, and daughter Bertha has married Chester Buckner, and they're with Letitia, too.

Bertha and Chester Buckner are in Stanislaus County California in 1940.
In 1947 Chester is the pastor of the First Methodist Church in Pittsburg California. He and Berthat live at 1210 Solari.
Bertha, born March 17, 1891, died July 22, 1952 in San Joaquin County.
Chester, born July 23, 1889, died March 25, 1967 in Sacramento County.
| Modesto Bee - March 29, 1967 Services will be conducted a 3 pm. Saturday at Memorial Methodist Church. 6929 Franklin Boulevard, Sacramento, for the Rev. Chester L. Buckner, 78, former minister to Methodist churches in Ceres and Livingston, who died Saturday in Sacramento. H was in Ceres In 1936-37 and In Livingston, in 1948 and also served churches in Martins.. His widow Ruth Melissa also is a ......Georgetown church, Besides his widow, he leaves a son, Ivan Buckner of Santa Cruz; two daughters, Mrs. Viola 'Dundai of San Francisco and Ion; a brother, the Rev. Hartzel ;Buckner of Chico; six grand-children and eight great-grand children,. The Methodist Church Conference, Post Office Box 467, San Francisco, announced a memorial fund is being established to assist building funds of churches where the Buckners worked together. |

| Lewis Phineas Whiting, son of Wilson J. and Lydia Whiting, was born
near Palo, Iowa, November 17, 1854, and passed away at his home near
Guide Rock, Nebraska, February 26, 1937, aged 82 years, 3 months, and 9
days. In September, 1877, he and his father and family moved to Nuckolls county (sic), Nebraska, via covered wagon. July 4, 1880, he married Ella A. Hedgcock and settled on a farm in the same neighborhood, later moving to a farm near Hardy, Nebraska, where they resided many years. To this union were born three daughters: Mrs. E.G. Ingraham, Kingsport, Tennessee; Miss Ethel Whiting, a missionary in Calcutta, India; and Mrs. L.H. Hunter of Guide Rock. His wife preceded him in death December 21, 1932. August 23, 1934, he was again married, to Mrs. Rose Kimball of Nora, Nebraska, who with his three children survive him. He leaves also to mourn his death, seven grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. F.A. Wilson of Aurora, Nebraska; a brother, Wilson Whiting of Alda, Nebraska, besides a number of nieces and nephews, and other relatives. He lived near Beatrice, Nebraska, for several years and moved to Guide Rock community in 1913, where he has since resided. He and his family were always very active in all community and church activities. He was reared in a Christian home, and united with the church in early manhood. While there have been changes in denominational as well as local transfers of membership, owing to his moving to different locations, wherever he lived he continued his church membership and took an active interest in Christian affairs up to the very last few weeks. Funeral services were held in the Guide Rock Methodist church Monday afternoon, conducted by the pastor, Rev. E.C. Moore, assisted by Rev. Richmond, pastor of the Red Cloud M.E. church. Interment was in the Nora cemetery. The funeral was largely attended by many of Mr. Whiting's friends, and everyone who knew him was his friend. -- Guide Rock Signal. |
April 29, 1910 "We smoked a good cigar last week at the expense of E.G Ingraham. Its a girl, born April 11. All doing well." "Mrs. L.J. Ingraham left Monday for her home in Lincoln."
In 1910 Yuma County Edward G. Ingraham, 32, born in Minnesota and Mabel 28, Nebraska, have Alice 8, Colorado and Dorothy 1, Colorado - Lodger Frank Kuhring, 34, Illinois, is a farm laborer.
Samuel J. Ingraham graduated in 1910 from the Wesleyan University - "Nebraska State Journal"
July 1911 "E.G. Ingraham left Saturday for Lincoln, Nebr., in response to a telegram announcing the death of his brother, from typhoid fever. Deceased was traveling for the Ridpath Chatauqua Co., and was taken sick at Rocky Ford, this state, but returned to his home in Lincoln. Their mother, who was here, went to Lincoln two weeks ago."

December 1913 "C.C. Conover this week engineered a deal whereby Mrs. Letitia J. Ingraham relinquished her 320-acre homestead claim, 20 miles south of Yuma to DeRoy Vandergrift, of Idalia, Colorado."
September 1914 "Mrs. L.J. Ingraham, mother to Rev. E.G. Ingraham and Charles Ingraham, stopped off here over Sunday, being en route from Oregon to her home at University Place, Nebraska." (this must be Challen)
In 1914 E.G. Ingraham is chairman of the Western Yuma County Prohibition Committee.
1914 "Miss Nellie Young, 11 years old, returned to her home in Lincoln, Nebr. last Saturday morning, after having spent the summer on the ranch of C.H. Ingraham, twenty miles south of Yuma."
In 1915 Rev. E.G. Ingraham was pastor of the Yuma Methodist Church.
March 26, 1915 "Rev. E.G. Ingraham received a message from Lincoln this morning, announcing the death of his mother."

Samuel proved up 320 in 30 and 31 of 2S 47W and 25, 2S 48W, also in 1916.
Challen proved up 360 acres in 29, 2S 47W, also in 1916.
In 1910 Owyhee County Idaho Harvey M, born in Nebraska is a ditch rider for an irrigation district. Jennie is 29, and Myrtle is 5.
Challen Harvey Ingraham registered with an address in Lancaster, Nebraska, saying he was born March 15, 1879, nearest relative Jennie May Ingraham.
In 1920 Lincoln Harve is 40, Jennie 36, and Myrtle 15.
In 1930 Lincoln Challen 51 is a packer for a storage company, Jennie 47 born in Nebraska, have Myrtle M. 26, Nebraska, a cashier for a power company.
He died Dec 11, 1946 in Santa Barbara, mother's maiden name Waters. He and Jennie May Ingraham, born Jan 29, 1883, died Jun 9, 1964 in Santa Barbara County, are buried Goleta Cemetery.
Edward born July 2, 1877 at Nobles, Minnesota, died September 26, 1945 in Kingsport, Tennessee. Father was William Harvey, born at Blackford Indiana, mother was Letitia Jane Waters, born at Keokuk, Iowa. Spouse was Mabel Whiting Ingraham. Edward and Mabel -1882-1976 are buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Kingsport.
