Ellis Warner Miles and Henrietta (Johnston) Miles

Ellis cash-claimed a quarter  in 34, 5S 42W in 1896.

In 1900 Linn County, Kansas Ellis Miles April 1853 and Hettie Aug 1848 were both born in Pennsylvania, andave John Nov 1887 Kansas, Charley Aug 1892 COLORADO, and Walker Aug 1898 Illinois.

In 1910 Red Willow County, Nebraska Ellis Miles, 57, widowed, is a farm worker for the Henry and Ruth Noden family.

Charles Hubert Miles registered in Gross, Kansas, saying he was born August 19, 1892 in Lyons Colorado, and was a coal miner at the Sheridan Coal Co., married.  (but he married Gladys Irene Coureton August 2, 1920 in Bates County, Missouri)

• Henrietta (Johnston) Miles born August 9, 1858 in Clearfield County Pennsylvania, died January 9, 1901 in Lincoln County, Kansas, and is buried in the Trading Post Cemetery, Linn County, Kansas.

In 1915 E. Miles, 62,  Pennsylvania is living in Russell County, Kansas with John 28 Miles, Anna 26, Clara 2, Elmer 1 and Lourain three months.

One tree says Ellis died in 1926 in Kansas City, Missouri, another says in 1926 in Linn County, Kansas.
