Lewis Dorman Mullison died at the Wray Hospital, August 17, 1925,
from effects of cancer at the age of 68 years, l months, and 20 days.
Deceased was one of the early settlers of Yuma County, and had built up for himself
the profound respect and admiration of all who knew him.
He was a good nelghbor, a kind husband and father, and was held in high esteem by all in his community.
He departed by auto some months ago, with his wife, to tour the western coast, but was forced
by ill health to abandon the car and return home.
He immediately entered the hospital, but efforts to save him were in vain.
His funeral is held today, Thursday, August 20, 1925, the services being held from
the Methodist church, with Reverend Brand of Vernon officiating.
He leaves, besides his wife, three sons. Ray, Norman and Dorman, and one daughter, Alma,
and a numberless amount of friends. The sympathy of all goes out to the bereaved family in their
sorrow."

October 16, 1930 "Mrs. Mary Mullison, long time resident of this community,
died at her home north of Wray Sunday morning, Oct. 12, following a short illness.
Funeral services were held from the Methodist church in Wray Tuesday afternoon with
Rev. A. M. Carpenter and Rev. Clark Bower in charge of the services and the remains
were laid to rest in Grandview cemetery.
Mary E. Mourning was born at Colchester, Illinois, July 15, 1857. She was united in marriage to
Lewis D. Mullison in the year 1880. To this union six children were bom,
two of whom died in infancy. Mr. and Mrs. Mullison settled on a farm near St. Francis, Kansas,
in 1887 where they lived until 1900 when they moved to Wray.
Mrs. Mullison and was well and favorably known. She was a good woman and for the past
twenty-five years she was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church and a faithful member she was.
Rarely did she miss any of its services. Religion to her was a vital thing and she endeavored to
live as her Master would have her live.
She passed away at her home on Sunday morning, Oct. 12, 1930, at the age of
75 years, 3 months and 2 days. Her husband preceded her in death on August 17, 1925.
She is survived by four children: Norman 0., Ray 0., and Ilma L., all of Wray and
Dorman E. of Keensburg, Colo. Also five brothers and three sisters.
All except one brother, Joseph R. Mourning, whose home has been with her, live at a distance.
She also leaves to mourn their loss, other more distant relatives and a multitude of friends."
Leslie is a dishwasher, living
in an Albuquerque hotel in 1940.
