Almon Foster signed a WWI draft registration card
September 12, 1918 giving his date of birth as
June 11, 1978. He was living at Winfield in Lincoln County,
Missouri, working as farm labor for Lewis Foster.
He named his mother, Alice Foster, as his nearest
relative.
Almon proved up 320 acres in section 22, 5N 43W in 1914.

April 1921 " Almon Foster of the Bachelor Hall went
on the coyote drive near Wray, last week and hasn't
returned, been seen, or heard of. We wonder what has
happened, but he will explain his adventures when he does
return. We'll wait. "
September 1934 "Almon Foster is at the Buck Walcott home. Mr. Foster just came back from the mountains where he had been working in the hay fields."
October 1935 "Mrs. Nellie Long and children and
Mrs. Charley Dodson and sons, and Buck Walcott and children
and Almon Foster spent Sunday of last week with
Mr. and Mrs. Mat Walcott and Orville. "
In July 1936 Almon's land as advertised for sale for county taxes for the year 1931. Thecertificate of purchase was issued to Anna J. Oman.
(Anna J. Oman was teaching school in Phillips County in 1931.)
She was teaching at the Cement school in June 1933.
November 1936 "Miss Anna Oman was united in marriage to Mr. Otto Sundquist on October 12th at West Point, Neb., according to word received here recently. Mrs. Sundquist taught school near Wray a few years ago and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Olof Oman, formerly lived in Wray. The bride will be remembered by many Wray people who extend their congratulations. The bride and groom will live on a farm near Lyons, Neb."
