Her mother, Mrs. Bentley, and sister,

April 1904 "Will Bentley of Holyoke
received the sad news of his mother's death
last Friday and left Holyoke on the evening
train for the old home in Iowa to attend the
funeral."
August 1904 "At a hearing in the county
court of this county on Tuesday a jury found
tbat Mrs. W. E. Bentley of Holyoke was so
distracted in mind as to require the
appointment of a conservator to take charge
of business affairs. Her husband W. E.
Bentley was appointed. Mr. Bentley took the
evening train with his wife for a visit
to Iowa in the hope that a lower
altitude would prove beneficial to her
health as she has been suffering from
poor health for several months."
July 1905 " Died at the home of her
daughter in Holyoke Tuesday July llth, Mrs.
W. E. Bentley from apoplexy.
The sudden death of Mrs. Bentley was quite
a shock to the people of the town who had
seen her up and around till the day of her
death. The funeral services were conducted
from the Baptist Church Rev. J.T.
Jenkins preaching the sermon assisted in
the services by Rev. Chase
of the Presbyterian church. Obituary
will be published next week."

Mrs. W. E. Bently of Holyoke, on Tuesday
evening, June 2, Rev. J. T. Jenkins
officiating, W. H. Brace and Miss
Edith Lentz were united in marriage. Only relativees
were present to witness the ceremony.
After the ceremony, the guests sat down
to an excellent wedding supper.
These young people are well known in
Holyoke. The bride has resided in our town
for several years and is a bright,
intelligent and accomplished young lady
and is highly respected by all who know
her. Will Brace may be called a Holyoke
boy as he has spent the most of his
life in our town. He has for several
years been one of the trusted employees
of the B. & M. as brakeaman
on the High Line. He enjoys the
esteem and best wishes of many
friends in our town and is to be
congratulated on securing such a
refined and amiable young lady
as a life companion.
They will make their home in
Holyoke. The Herald
