Yuma County Pioneer Photographs:

Elmer W. Slawson, Pleasant Valley

Elmer proved up a quarter in 25, 4N 47W in 1892.  He also had a record of a timber claim, but that didn't appear to be completed.

Possibly related to Sayre J. Slawson, against whom the Empire Ranch and Cattle Company sued for land in  the southeast of 12, 3N 48W.

1906 the Wray Gazette listed "R.W. Slawson, of Port Gamble, Washington, is among the new readers of the Gazette since the last issue."

In 1870 Manistee County, Michigan, Elam W. Slawson is 23, born in Michigan.

Lam Slawson is in Jewell County Kansas, in 1885, a laborer for Henry Clifton.
In 1920 there's an Elam Slawson in Port Townsend, Washington, 72, born in Michigan, a patient in St. Johns Hospital.
