Fredrick William and Teresa (Landauer) Pomranka , Pleasant Valley

Frederick W. "Pommnranke" , age 23, married Teresa Landauer, 19, at LeRoy Colorado September 20, 1888, performed by Frederick L. Wilgert, Evangelical minister of LeRoy.  The marriage was recorded in Akron. Washington County.

One tree said she was the daughter of Johannes and Katerina (Haekel) Landauer, born 1871 in Austria, arrived June 18, 1887 in New York, and died 1893 in Yuma.

Teresa "Pomeranky" is buried in Yuma, in the same block as Ignatius, John, and Katherina Landauer.  1871-1893  # 74230800

Fredrick cash-claimed a quarter in 17, 4N 47W in 1891, and proved up another in 1895.

One tree said Elizabeth Reichel was the daughter of Christian and Eva (Keller) Reichel.

Arriving 1889 in New York on the Lahn December 21, 1889 from Bremen  are Christ Rieichel, 48, laborer, Eva 43, Karl 7, Lisbeth 6, Katha 5, Amalia 4, and Emilie, nine months..  He was headed for Nebraska.

In 1900 Boyd County, Nebraska, Christ born April 1842 in Russia, married 35 years to Eva June 1845 Russia.  She's had twelve children, six living.  With them is Amelia Feb 1889 Russia.

In 1909 Christ Reichel is running a saloon in Herrick, South Dakota, and in 1910 Christian and Eva are living with son Carl and his family.

In 1915 South Dakota, Christian is widowed, saying he arrived in South Dakota about 1909.

In 1920 Christian Reichel, widowed, is with daughter Kathleen Anhorn, 40 and her husband John 48, both born in Russia.

He's also widowed in the 1925 South Dakota census.

FindaGrave  # 106501714 says Frederick Christian Reichel died April 18, 1926, buried in Herrick, Gregory County, South Dakota.

South Dakota death index has Eva Reichiel dying in Moody County in 1935.

That land was owned by Fred Korf in 1920.

In 1900 Platteville, Colorado, Fred W. "Pamrauka", farming, born May 1865, and Elizabeth May 1871 have been married seven years.  She's had three children two living.  Anna I. Feb 1896 and Ida March 1898.

In 1905 Fred was to sell horses, mules, cattle, implements one mile west, half-mile south of Albee Bridge, near W. R. Adams place - in the Fort Collins newspaper.

In 1905 "Riker & Pomranka" gave a dance as an opening for their new pool hall called the Wellington.  The Wellington orchestra - Calder, Evans and Peters - furnished the music.

1909 Wellington, Colorado "Fred Pomranka was in Fort Collins last Thursday to meet a cousin, August Pomranka, formerly of Toledo, Ohio, whom he had never met before.  The cousin is traveling auditor for the Northern Colorado Power Company, with headquarters in Fort Collins."

1910 "A brother of Fred Pomranka from Fort Morgan visited him last week."

In 1910 Wellington Colorado, Frederick 44 and Elizabeth 39, both born in Germany, have been married 18 years.  Emma 14, Edith 12, Lena 9, Annie 7, Florence 4, and Frederick Jr. 1, were all born in Colorado.

In 1920 Larimer County Frederick, 54, immigrating 1879, naturalized 1892, is farming.  Elizabeth 48, immigrating 1888, naturalized 1889 was born in Russia.  Florence E. is 13, Frederick Jr. 11, Edwin 8, Clarence A. 7, and Evelyn E. 4.

1920 Fort Collins "Mrs. J.A. Stewart of 405 N. Grant Street has been visiting her parents Mr. and Mrs. F.W. Pomranka of Loveland."  "J. Arthur" is a fireman, 28, with Emma 23.  They have Leroy 5 and Warren 3.

John Reinbouldt married Leona Pomranke April 25, 1920, recorded in Denver.

Lena Louise Reinboldt married Edward B. Dale August 22, 1931, recorded in El Paso County.

In 1930 Loveland, Colorado Fred is 68, Elizabeth 59, Clarence 17, Evelyn 15, and son-in-law John Reinboldt 39, born in France. John B. Reinboldt married Reta Theiler in 1932, divorced her, then married Erma Earl in 1937.

BillionGraves has Elizabeth Pomranka in Lakeside, Loveland 1871-1952.  It has Frederick W. "Pnranka"  in Lakeside 1865-1936.

In 1920 Fort Collins, Jesse B. is also a fireman at the sugar factory.  He's 37, born in Colorado, and Ethel F. is 40.   THIS IS ETHEL BUSH they married 1908.  Jesse B. Stewart, 1883-1968 is buried in Fort Collins # 53068418.  So is Ethel Florence 1879-1926 # 53068410.

In 1930 Morrill County, Nebraska, J. Arthur is a boiler foreman at a sugar factory. He and Emma have Leroy, Warren A.,  Jack H., 8 Nebraska,  Irma I. 5 Nebraska, and Reta A. 1, Nebraska.

In 1940 Loveland, Joseph and Emma are running a grocery store, and Leroy works there.  Warren, Jack, Irma and Reta have no occupations.

Frederick Pomranka married Laverne Ramsey October 16, 1928, recorded in Arapahoe County.

Anna H. Pomranka married Harold L. Trindle July 6, 1926, recorded in Arapahoe County.

Clarence Pomranka married Irene Walker January 1, 1936, recorded in Jefferson County.

Evelyn Pomranka married Everett Morison Burns June 28, 1936, recorded in Denver.

"My grandfather, William Frederick Pomranka (nee Pomrenke) lived in colorado from @ 1898 till he died in 1935. His brother Edward also lived in Colorado but did not change the spelling in his name. I have family trees of his 9 children and extensive branches of the family of Wm's wife Elizabeth Reichel. Thanks, Howard"

Loveland Burial Park

I hope you are still veiwing your web site. I am doing some Genealogy for Steve Pomranka, son of Clarence Albert and grandson of Frederick William and Elizabeth. I was able to locate all 9 children through census records but no further info. My name is Priscilla Johnson and padjopie@msn.com Russenda Lyon is a friend letting me use her ancestry web site. Would you be willing to share information? I would like to put a book together for Steve's birthday. His mother is still alive at 95. Interested in the Reichel line too. No info on them. PJ
