Henry Fleischhauer , Pleasant Valley

Henry proved up a quarter in 17, 4N 48W in 1894, and timber-claimed another in 1900. 

In 1900 a Henry Fleisichaurer is in the Norfolk Nebraska insane asylum, born Aug 1833 in Germany, widowed.

He's in a Lancaster County, Nebraska insane home in 1910, saying he was widowed, immigrating in1867.

In 1920 "H. Fleschauer" owned the two quarters of Yuma County land in 1920.

In Saline County Nebraska are "Fleischauer - father and mother 1849-1929" -likely related to William F. Fleischauer 1890-1975 buried in Plainview Cemetery with his wife Clara M. (Laufman) 1895-1968.  And Ella Marie (Fleischauer) Essman 1897-1982 buried in Swan Valley.

This William E. Fleischauer registered in Exeter, Nebraska, saying he was born March 18, 1890 at Hamburg, Iowa.

That's the same county that Henry Franzmeyer - next to Henry's claim in Yuma County - ended up.

William's son Donald died July 1945 in "Asia" with stones in McKinley, Manila, Philippines, and also in Fort Logan, Denver.

Dr. Dean Fleischauer, 81, Fountain, Colo., formerly of Odell, Neb., died Monday, July 28, 2008. Born October 10, 1926, in Lincoln, Neb. U.S. Army veteran. Retired teacher and superintendent.

Survivors: wife, Margie; sons, Neil, Norman and Donald; grandchildren, Erin Schneider, Matthew, Robert, Lee, Greg and Sarah Fleischauer; four great-grandchildren; sister, Thelma Becay; and brother, Wayne. His parents, William and Clara (Laufman) Fleischauer, preceded him in death.

Celebration of life held Monday, Aug. 4, at the Dean Fleischauer Activities Center on Alabama Street in Fountain. Donations to Pikes Peak Hospice or to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Henry Fleischhauer, born about 1822 in Germany, was in the 1861 census of Waterloo, Ontario.

Henry A. Fleischauer, born about 1861 to Henry Fleischauer and Elizabeth Lang, married Catharina Gerth December 22, 1885 in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.

Annie Mary Fleischhauer, born about 1866 to Henry Fleischhauer and Elizabeth Lang, married Conrad Schwint Nov 28, 1894 inWaterloo,Ontario, Canada.

Elizabeth Fleischhauer, born about 1872 to Heinrich Fleischhauer and Elizabeth Lang, married George Grosh August 22, 1894 in Perth, Ontarion, Canada.

Christine Katherine Fleischauer, born 1879 to Henry Fleischauer and Elizabeth Lang, married John Debus in 1910 in Perth, Ontario, Canada

There's a Daniel Fleischauer - of the right age to be Henry's son - born in Canada with his wife and bunch of kids born in Canada.  One tree said he was the son of Jacob Sr.

In 1900 Jefferson County, Nebraska, Daniel born Nov 1845, Fannie June 1845, married 30 years, with Daniel Nov 1872, Christian Dec 1878, Katie Jan 1877, - these all born in Canada - and Peter May 1881 Nebraska.

Peter Henry Fleischauer registered with a Chappell Nebraska address, born May 22, 1881, a carpenter.  Mother Fannie Fleischauer of Jefferson County, Nebraska.

In Woodlawn Cemetery, Jefferson County, Nebraska are  Daniel FLEISCHAUER  Nov 25, 1845  May 2, 1912,  Veronica FLEISCHAUER  June 15, 1844  Aug 31, 1931, and FLEISCHAUER, Jacob E.  Feb 18, 1875 - July 17, 1956
