Olive Del Cabeen 1891-1912 is buried in Elmwood Cemetery, Page County, Iowa.
In 1913 both Edwin and Addes were delinquent on Yuma County taxes.
Edwin Boyd Cabeen registered in Taylor County, born June 19, 1881, farming, with Nancy Jane Cabeen his nearest relative.

In 1930 Sheridan Colorado, E. Cabeen is 48, Lilly 35, and James 8.
Edwin Cabeen is in Arapahoe County, Colorado in 1940, 58, no occupation, married to Lillie May, 46, Colorado. They have James F. 18 born in Iowa.
Lillie and Edwin are in Seattle, Washington in 1943 (a laborer) and 1951, both times at 2903 Mansell.

Here are pictures of Edwin Cabeen and his son Jim Cabeen. These were sent
to me by Frances, Jim Cabeen's wife, 15 or so years ago.
The picture of Edwin was taken in Denver around 1961. She said the
picture of Jim was a good likeness.
Addes Earl Cabeen, per # 36054785, born 1881, died 1956, and is buried in Dallas Center, Taylor County.
Edwin died in Seattle Dec 1, 1966.
James F. Cabeen, born Nov 17, 1921, died in Westport, Grays Harbor County, Washington, November 3, 1998.
| Frances Linnea Cabeen, 93, of Richland, WA, passed away September
4th, 2004, of heart failure. Frances was born August 31st, 1911, in Hoquiam, WA. She lived most of her life on the West Coast. Frances and her husband Jim owned and operated a service station in the Seattle area, and then moved to Westport, WA, where they owned and operated a motel and RV Park for many years until retirement. She lived her last six years in the Tri-Cities, WA, surrounded by her loving nephew and niece, Lee and Irene Johnson, and her great-niece, Kristi Nelson, her husband, Ethan Nelson, and their children, Grant and Mason. Frances loved to read, loved animals, and her family and friends. Her son, Conny Nelson; two sisters, Alice Phillips and Violet Oslund, and her two brothers, Harold and Walter Nyberg preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Yvonne Nelson of Edmonds, WA, and eight grandchildren, Priscilla Nelson of Cedar Rapids, IA, Christopher Nelson of Seattle, WA, Prudence Nelson of Richmond, IN, Melissa Nelson of Missoula, MT, Conny Nelson Jr. of Phoenix, AZ, Elizabeth Dazey of Missoula, MT, Honoria Sorlien of Grand Folks, ND, Felicia Nelson of Golden, CO, and 21 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She requested no services be held in her behalf. Donations may be made in her name to the Hospice House, 2108 W. Entiat, Kennewick, WA 99336. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. |

Calvin Augustus Cabeen, son of Mary Ann Melone and Robert Cabeen, was born
near Aledo, Mercer Co., Ill., Jan 3, 1852 and died Dec 13, 1929 near New Market.
As a boy they lived in Muskingum Co, Ohio where he lived 12 years then returned
and lived 4 years in Illinois and then came to Monroe Co, Iowa. On Feb 19, 1897
he married Nancy J. Frye of Aledo, Illinois and to them were born 11 children.
The eldest son, Roy Webster, died when eight months old, and the youngest
daughter, Olive, died March 4, 1912, at the age of twenty. The remaining
children are: Edwin B. of Littleton, Colo; Leota of Alexandria, Egypt, who has
been working 21 years as a missionary under the direction of the United
Presbyterian church; Grace of St. Joseph; Mrs. Pearl Rypkema of Industrial City,
Mo; Robert of St. Joseph; Bert T. of Bedford; and Addes E., Mae, and William all
of New Market. He is also survived by his wife and one brother, Robert. Mr.
Cabeen was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Albia, Iowa.
