In 1880 Gratiot County, Michigan, Leroy Peck is a farm laborer with the Joseph Seaver family.
LeRoy proved up a quarter in 24, 4S 46W in 1895.
He's the Leroy W. Peck in Canyon County, Idaho in 1900, born Nov 1858 in Michigan, married 20 years to Isabel Dec 1859, also Michigan. They have Bert E. Oct 1881 Michigan and Don W. June 1893 Colorado. With them is Rosalia, sister, single, born Feb 1855 in Michigan.
In 1910 Canyon County Leroy M. and Isabelle have only Don with them, and in 1920 Ada County Don is still with them.
Isabel is single in 1930 Ada County, and died Jan 20, 1934 there, born Dec 21, 1859 to Wm. Daugherty and Millie Bull.
Leroy Whitman Peck, born Mar 6, 1858, died in Ada County Idaho Sept 18, 1923. Father was Eliza Peck, born in New York.
They both are buried in Roswell Cemetery, Canyon County, as is Don W. Peck - June 30, 1893-Oct 24, 1972 and Bert E. Peck -1881-1960.
| MELBA - Services for Don W. Peck, 79, of Melba Route
1, who died Tuesday in a Nampa hospital after a brief illness, will be
conducted at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Nampa at 2 p.m. Friday by the
Rev. Gordon L. Bennett of the Melba Friends Church, The Kvan-Sloneker
Post No. 126, American Legion, will conduct interment rites at the Melba
Cemetery. Mr. Peck was born June 30, 1893 in Kirk, Colo., and moved with
his parents in a covered wagon to Idaho in 1894. He was reared in
Roswell and homesteaded near Melba in 1916. He served with the Army
during World War 1 and married Lula F. Heron March 28, 1921 in Caldwell.
The couple lived in Melba until moving to Eagle in 1931. In 1941 they
returned to Melba, where they had since resided. Mr. Peck was a member
of the American Legion and War Eagles Barracks No. 459, Veterans of
World War I of Nampa. He was a director of the Boise and Kuna Irrigation
District for several years and was a member of the Boise Project Board
of Control. Surviving in addition to his wife are six sons, Charles Peck
of New Guinea, Eldon Peck of Houston, Tex., Frank Peck of Los Angeles,
Larry Peck of Bowie, Md., and Donald Peck and Leroy "Bud" Peck, both of
Melba; four daughters, Maxine Gant of Fort Worth, Tex., Joyce Moos of
Boise, Joanne Fankhauser of Richland, Wash., and Sharon Pitman of Fort
Collins, Colo.; and 20 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son.
Memorials may be given to the Idaho Youth Ranch at Rupert. Pallbearers
will be John Frisch, Kenneth Frisch, Kenneth Clark, Lee Cook, Robert
Proesch and Glen Hoagland. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Morley,
Alfred Zeyer, Clifford Haynes, Jim Hughes, Isaac Blickenstaff and Jack

One tree said that Bert, born Oct 26, 1881 in Michigan, married Minnie Elmina Stewart in 1908 in Roswell, Idaho, divorced Feb 1927.
