He was ordained on Jan. 22, 1882. He was confirmed as Aeltester on July 23, 1906. He remarried after Sarah's death in Joes December 14, 1910, but no information is available from the family concerning his second wife. It is believed that they separated. 1908-1935 Border Crossings shows Jacob crossing at North Portal, Saskatchewan with wife Eva. 1916 Canada Census shows him living in Laird with Eva, Also shows son Jacob J. and wife Katherine, daughters Louise and Elizabeth living in Hepburn, Saskatchewan. He died June 9, 1919 and is buried in Joes. |

Leander "Lee" Fadenrecht was born July 19, 1918 in Kirk, Colorado to
Rudolph & Lena (Friesen) Fadenrecht. He was surrounded by his children
when the Lord called him home on September 16, 2010 in Gresham, Oregon. Lee was the youngest of seven children. His family farmed in Joes, Colorado and Hepburn, Saskatchewan where he graduated from high school. His fondest childhood memory was galloping on his horse Polly. Lee attended Tabor College in Hillsboro Kansas where he met the love of his life, Rosella Claassen. They married on August 17, 1947 in Dallas Oregon. To that union were born seven children. Rosella preceded him in death in 2002 after 55 years of marriage. They settled near Bellingham Washington where Lee was a Boiler Marker at the Bellingham Shipyards and also worked as a salesman for Curtis Publishing. In 1960 he moved his family to Portland. He worked for Bower Moving and Storage in Vancouver. He also worked briefly for Schwartz Moving and Storage retiring in 1981. In 2005, Lee moved to Gresham where he resided until his death. Family was Leander's first priority. He was supportive and generous, a true role model for his children. He was an active member of Montavilla Baptist Church and later Hinson Memorial Baptist Church where he served as deacon and sang in the choir. Lee and Rosella loved to sing and passed that love on to their children. He greatly enjoyed his fourteen grandchildren and was so excited for his first great grandchild who brought him much joy in his final days. In addition to his wife, Rosella, Lee was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Janice in 1948, four brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his children Marilyn Darby (Mike) of Redmond, Oregon; Jeannette Fadenrecht of Gresham, Oregon; Allen Fadenrecht (Marilyn) of Damascus, Oregon; Warren Fadenrecht (Alicia) of Oakland, Florida; Ruth Whiteley (Jeff) of McMinnville, Oregon; Sharon Young (Ken) of Eugene, Oregon; 14 Grandchildren – Maria Crowley, Megan Darby, Maureen Boothe, Andrew Fadenrecht, Laura Fadenrecht, Cory Fadenrecht, Emily Fadenrecht, Tyler Fadenrecht, Tara Fadenrecht, Tessa Fadenrecht, Kevin Doyle, Jenna Doyle, Donald Young, Pam Young and one Great Grandchild, Brody Crowley and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 19, 2010 at 10:00 am at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Saturday, September 18th from 12:00 pm -4:00 pm also at Bateman Carroll. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery. ------------------------------------------------------------------- George is in Hillsboro, Kansas in 1940, a student at Tabor College - he said he was in Sask., Canada in 1935.
George H. Fadenrecht, 92, died March 22, 2007 in Ellensburg,
Washington.
His mother died when he was 14. After eighth grade he began
full-time work on the farm. After six years of farming he began at
