John R. Skinner, William Skinner

John proved up on two quarters in 18, 4N 45W in 1919, and acquired another piece for Stock in 1919.

In 1916 William Skinner proved up on two quarters in 3N 42W - about fifteen miles east of John.  William was in the Laird precinct in 1910, single, 30, born in Iowa, father in Pennsylvania, mother in England.

They possibly are brothers - parents in Marion County, Kansas -

William A. 1875-1942 and Sarah E 1878-1933 are buried in Colorado Springs. but the ages of their kids in the 1920 census doesn't match the Laird one

In 1902 a John Skinner is a fireman in Colorado Springs.

In 1904 John R. Skinner of Trenton, Missouri was breeding red shorthorn cattle

1905 Yuma "Mr. and Mrs. Skinner of Denver were in Yuma the fore part of the week looking after their land interests."

In 1910 Nucla William D. Skinner is living with sister Martha Howard 48 and their mother Henrietta Skinner, 71.

The 1920 census has him living with Martha Havard, both widowed, born in Illinois.  William is a machinist in a garage.

 William David Skinner registered for WWI in Nucla - Montrose County, saying he was born June 7, 1873,   He's buried in Nucla "pvt 1st Bn Wyo Inf Sp Am War.  June 7, 1873 - March 27, 1920

A.H. Skinner was part of the Empire Land & Cattle Company suit in 1902 - land in 7, 4N 48W
