There's a William M. Bridges in
Canon City, Colorado in 1900, born July 1857 in Scotland, with Jeanette March 1863 in Scotland, married six years. John June 1895 and Alexander Feb 1897 were born in Colorado. William immigrated in 1882, Jennette in 1894.

William M. Bridges who applied for naturalization in the Canon City courty in April 6, 1900. )about twenty miles from Custer County.
"Heirs of William R. Bridges" timber-claimed 160 acres in 22, 4N 43W in 1903 - a mile northeast of the first Alvin post office.
