Harry B. Underhill
In 1880 Harry is with Joseph and Ida Underhill in Emporia, Kansas, with
sister Ruby J. 3.
One tree said Joseph's first wife was Loretta Rogers 1853-1875 dying in Tazewell County, Illinois, with Harry B. born De 1871 in Illiniois.
In 1890 Joseph and Ida, with Harry, Ruby, Annie M. (9), Josie 6, Gracie 3,
and Dyrna F. two months are in Oklahoma
Harry B. Underhill was delinquent on taxes in 1916 for land in 8, 3N 45W.
Otis C. Underhill registered for WWI in Eckley, saying he was born Feb 22,
1895 in Clauson,?? Oklahoma, was a farmer supporting his father and mother.
But in 1920 Otis is back in Wichita County, Texas, in the J.C. Rohr house.
Sister Ruby Harger, 42, and mother Ida Underhill are also there. In 1930
Ida, now 76, is with daughter Anna M. Burnett and her husband "Roe" in Oklahoma
County, Oklahoma.
In 1900 Chickasha Nation, Indian Territory he's a cook in a hotel operated by
the Henry Kimball
Harry proved up land, mostly in section 8, 3N 45W in 1917.
He departed from Hoboken, New Jersey, a private in Company #, Q. M. C., residing in Oklahoma CIty,
sister Mrs. Annie M. Burnett his next of kin.
In 1920 Oklahoma City a Harry B. Underhill, widowed, is with brother-in-law
Roland Burnett, 47, and his wife Anna M. Burnett, 38, with their son Samuel E.

September 1938 Vernon items "Harry Underhill, who has made his home with Cleve and Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Mason for about a year, will make his residence in Eckley. "
October 26, 1939 "Harrie B. Underhill of Eckley received word Saturday that his mother, Mrs. Ida E. Unxlerhiil, had passed away at her home in Oklahoma City. She had been ill for a short time, and though well above 80 years of age, her sickness was not considered serious. Mr. Underhill left early Wednesday morning for Tulsa, where a sister lives, and will go from there to Oklahoma City. He expects to be gone about three weeks."
January 1940 Wray "Harrie B. Underhill of Eckley
presented two of the Gazette's family nifty sewing boxes for Christmas presents which are much appreciated."
In 1940 Harry, 69, born in Illinois, operates a recreation parlor in Eckley.
October 1941 "Harry Underhill,
Vern Ballard and Sherm McCalla attended the V. F. W.
meeting in Yuma Tuesday evening. "
December 1942 "Harry Underhill, returned last week from Tulsa, Oklahoma, to attend to business affairs. He left Monday night to return to Tulsa where he has been staying at the home of a sister. "
May 1944 "Harrie Underhill, who left Eckley a year
ago to stay with his sister in Wagoner and Tulsa,
Oklahoma, has returned to Eckley for an indefinite stay."
July 1944 "Harry Underhill departed via train from Wray Friday noon for an extended visit with his sister at Wagoner, Oklahoma"
February 1945 "Sherm McCalla, Pete Peterson, Harry Underhill, Eari Sutter and Jack Cline were among Eckley Legion member, who attended their, lodge meeting in Yuma Thursday night."
September 1945 "
Harrie Underhill departed Friday afternoon for Wagoner, Oklahoma, for an extended visit with his sister in that city. Harrie accompanied cattle as far as Lincoln and went on the bus from there."
December 1945 "Harry Underhill departed on the early train Monday for an indefinite visit with his sister,
Mrs. Ruby Rohr, at Wagoner, Oklahoma."
February 1947 "Harrie Underhill was a bus passenger
Saturday evening bound for Pryor, Okla.,
where he will make an extended visit with his sister in moving to Tulsa."
Feb 5, 1948 "News has been received here that an old timer in this community,
Harrie Underhill passed away last Monday
at Pryor, Oklahoma. Harrie age 78 has been long and favorably known in this community
and his legion of friends express their sympathy. For many years he conducted a
restaurant business here and later enjoyed a veterans pension. A couple of years
ago he went to Oklahoma to be with an aged sister with every intention of returning
but fate willed other wise. The veterans with whom he served will salute the passing
of a comrade and the friends the demise of a true pal."
