In 1900 Teller County (a mining area) Henan is a drayman, born Dec 1864 in Ohio, and Mary Dec 1869 Michigan, have been married five years, and have Effie July 1897 and Clifford July 1899, both Colorado.
Margaret July 27, 1905 - March 26, 1908 is buried in the Littleton Cemetery

is the only picture ever taken of Margaret. She is two years old. Not long after this picture while playing with her older sister Mabel [also in picture] she fell into an irrigation ditch and drowned.
In 1910 West Wray Hinan B. has "own income" and besides Clifford P. and Mabel. G, they have William H. 3.
1912 "H.B. Maxwell came down from Cripple Creek, Colorado, Tuesday for a visit with his family who reside a few miles north of town (Wray). Mr. Maxwell is employed in the mines in that section."
In 1920 Yuma County Henan and Mary have Effie M. 22, Clifford P. 20, Mable G. 16, and William H. 12.

Heenan proved up on 320 acres in 1916 in 3N 45W, and another quarter-quarter by Script in 1920. Witnesses were Lewis L. Corwin, Clyde Cunningham, Otto Finn, and Ned Nevils, all of Wray.
Elizabeth S. Maxwell had cash-claimed a quarter just northeast of Yuma in 1890.
"Harry" Maxwell and Mary must be the boarders in the Howard and Grace Chase family near Armel in 1930
In 1940 they're in Thayer County, living alone.
Heenan Bruff Maxwell - December 27, 1864 - 1950 and Mary Monaghan Maxwell December 28, 1869 -April 23, 1941 are buried in Alexandria Cemetery, Thayer County, Nebraska.
Effie M. married William H. Courtney, and had Mary M. in Eckley July 23, 1921
Betty Lee (Courtney) Endicott was born June 16, 1929 in Wray, Colorado, the daughter of William H. and Effie (Maxwell) Courtney and passed away in Seward, Nebraska on November 25, 2011 at the age of 82 years, 5 months, 9 days. Betty attended school in Wray, Colorado. On September 14, 1946, Betty was united in marriage to Russell Nelson Endicott, Jr. in St. Francis, Kansas. Their marriage was blessed with five children, Donald, Linda, Richard, Judy and Kelly.
