In 1880 Jewell County, Kansas, John Loutzenhiser is 35, Mary 28, and Raymond 5.
John 1845-1925 # 42101653 and Mary 1851-1915 are buried in Jewell County.
In 1900 Jewell County, John, born June 1845 in Pennsylvania, married 27 years to Mary E. Nov 1851, have Raymond April 1875, Ora G. May 1870, both boys born in Kansas, and Ernest July 1885. South Dakota.
In 1910 Jewell County, Raymond 35, Blanch 28, Leo A. 4, Arlo F. 2, and a three-month -old son.
In 1915 Jewell COunty, R. B. 40 and B his wife 33, with L.A. 9 and A.F 7 are farming.
May 4, 1917 "R.B. Loutzenhiser, who recently purchased the Cook farm, some twelve miles north of Yuma, came in Tuesday with his family from Jewell, Kansas, and has moved out to their new home."

Raymond and Blanche are in Yuma County in 1920, with Leo B. 15 and Arlo 13.
R.B. owned a half-section in 3, 4N, 48W in 1920 John a quarter in section 17, and Mrs. R.B. a half section in 22.
September 21 
R.B. had a sale in 1920, and later in the year "R.B. Loutzenhiser came down from Elbert on the afternoon train Monday to attend to business matters and to visit friends for a few days."

"Raymond B. Loutzenhiser was the eldest of three sons born to Mr. and Mrs. John Loutzenhiser. He was born April 2, 1875 on his father's homestead nine miles southeast of Jewell, Kansas. He grew to manhood in the Star community, teaching school for seven years, the last six terms being taught in his home district. "Ramie" as he was better known, had a very kind and friendly disposition and his friends were numbered only by his acquaintances. He always gave freely of his means and time where needed. When a young man he united with the Star Christian Church and did much toward making the song services interesting and helpful. At the time of his death he was an active member of the Colorado Springs Christian Church. He was united in marriage with Blanche Allen of Scottsville, Kansas in 1905. To this union three sons were born: Leo of Denver, Colorado, Arlo who recently moved to Oregon, and Jonnie who died in infancy. In 1916 he sold his farm in Prairie Twp., and moved to Yuma, Colo., later he moved to Elbert for the benefit of his wife's health and while there his sons were graduated from the Elbert High School. In 1931 the family moved to Colorado Springs where he became proprietor of a filling station. Death suddenly claimed him the evening of Dec. 21, 1936 while he and his wife were in attendance at a junior high school program. He leaves to mourn his departure, his wife, his two sons, four grandchildren, two brothers, Orie G., of Jewell, Kansas, and Ernest T., of Flagler, Colo., many other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services were held Dec. 24, 1936 at Swan's mortuary and interment was made in the beautiful Colorado Springs Cemetery "

Arlo is in Denver in 1930, 30, born in Kansas, a laborer living in a rooming house, single.
He married Leah Wheeler June 7, 1931, recorded in Douglas County.
"Miss Leah Wheeler and Arlo Loutzenhiser were united in marriage by the Rev. T. D. King
at the home of the bride Sunday evening, June 7th. Doris Wheeler and Emery Larreau attended the bride and groom.
Only the immediate families were present ."
In 1940 Arlo is in Bend, Oregon, a warehouseman for a fruit company,
with Leah 29 Colorado, Wanda 7 Colorado, and Janis Fay, 3 born in Oregon. They were in Douglas County Colorado in 1935.
In 1951 Arlo and Leah are in Colorado Springs, at 525 Bonfoy. Blanche (Widow Raymond) lives at 308 N 25th.
But they divorced there July 13, 1948....
July 1948 Douglas County "Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Wheeler and grand daughter, Janice Loutzenhiser, visited with Dr. and Mrs. C.W. Converse."
1950 "Mr and Mrs. Jack Herman and her daughter, Janice Loutzenhiser, of Colorado Springs, visited in the Hugh Wheeler home on Sunday."
Jack 1917-1996 and Leah 1910-1992 Herman are buried in the Franktown, Colorado cemetery.
June 1969 Colorado Springs "Arlo Loutzenhiser accepts a gift from John Keating,
sales manager, in honor of 25 years of service to Sinton Dairy in Colorado Springs.
The gift was an Omega gold watch. Director of operations for Sintons,
Gerry Roberts, was shown in the photo. Loutzenhiser, resides at 1215 N. Custer."
Arlo, born Jan 21, 1908, died March 1984.

In 1940 Denver Leo is a life insurance salesman, with Vera B. 31 born in Indiana. Edward A. is 6, Robert L. 4, both born in Colorado.
Vera G. Bever, born in Indiana, is with mother Grace Bever in 1930 Denver.
Grace H. Bever, 1880-1957 is buried in Colorado Springs # 34402781.
