To this union seven children were born, six of whom survive him, one having died in infancy. The living children are Arthur, Walter, and Mamie of this place, add George and O.M. King of Diller and Mrs. Rebekah King of Palmyra, Ill, brother and mother of the deceased, were also present; thus the final summons found him surrounded by love and devotion.
Mr. King came to Talmage from Nebraska City about July 1st 1904. His health would not permit him to engage in any active business while here but when a resident of Nebraska City he was connected with the King Drill Co. for many years and was the patentee of their principle implements.
