Adam Immel
Adam married Edna Marion Horton in Branch County, Michigan September 12, 1876.
"Edna Marion (Horton) Immel, 11 Jan 1855 - 22 Feb 1881.
Died age 26 years, 1 month and 11 days. She married Adam Immel,
also. Both of these Horton girls died at Geneva, Nebraska and were
shipped back to Orland for burial in the Memorial Grove Cemetery.
They are on the Horton-Cutler lot. Edna was Adam's
1st wife. She died in 1881 and in 1882 he married Orra who died in
1884. After she died he married Emily Hoopingardner, born 13 Jan
1860 - died Jan 1941.

One mile north of Geneva, August 30, 1884, of consumption, Orra, wife of A. Immel, aged thirty-four years. Mrs. Immel has been sick with no hope of recovery for a long time and the announcement of her death will be a surprise to no one. She leaves a very large circle of friends and acquaintances both here and in Indiana who sincerely mourn her loss and extend their sympathy to the bereaved husband.
The funeral services were held from the Methodist Church Sunday afternoon Rev. R. M. Day preaching a very effective discourse to one of the largest audiences that ever gather here on a like occasion. (The Geneva Review 03 SEP 1884 pg 3

Adam cash-claimed a quarter in 9, 2N 47W in 1891.
Adam proved up a quarter in 34, 3N 48W in 1898.
" Yuma, Colo., Sept 12, 1898.
By authority of a vote of the qualified electors of school district No. 1,
at a special district meeting held September 12, 1898, for that purpsse only,
we will offer for sale at public auction, at the front door of the court house in Yuma, Colo.,
on September 24, 1898, at 2 o'clock p. m., to the highest and best bidder for cash,
the school house known as the Immel school house, now the properly of this district.
By order cf the Board of Directors of school district No. 1 , Yuma county, Colo.
J. B. Campbell, Secretary."
November 1900 Steuben County, Indiana " Estate of Adam Immel set over to widow."
July 12, 1901 "George Murray of Arapahoe, Neb., purchased the Charles Hughes ranch,
formerly known as the Adam Immel place, Thursday. Mr. Murray will stock the ranch at once with ono hundred head of cattle."
In 1900 Steuben County, Indiana, Adam born Feb 1850 in Ohio, married 14 years to Emily Jan 1860 Ohio, have Ross G. Feb 1887 Nebraska, Hazel E. Feb 1889 COlorado, Florence June 1898 MJichigan, and Byrton June 1898 Michigan.
In 1906 the Nebraska Land and Cattle Company, for a note of $500 issued by Adam Immel and wife, were forcing a sale of that land.
Adam Immel in 1880 Branch County, Michigan, 30, born in Ohio, with Edna 25 Indiana, farming.
One tree said he was the son of John Immel and Catherine Faust, and married Emily Hoopingardner born 1860 and died January 1941 in Burr Oak Michigan. It said they had Harry 1883-1944, Ross 1886-1957, Hazel Emily born Feb 1890 at Yuma, marrying Wilson Hanna, dying 1954,
In 1910 St. Joseph County, Michigan, Emily is widowed, 50, with Flornec and Burton, both 11.
1917 Culver, Indiana " Hazel Hanna helped her parents move on Monday, then returned to her work in Culver."
Adam A. Immel 1850-1900 is buried in Branch County, # 99136087, with Emily (Hoopingarner Immel 1860-1941
# 99136105.
In 1920 St. Joseph County, Michigan, Florence is married to Byron Bathrick, son of Lyman and Marsha (Connett) Bathrick.
Hazel E. Immel, age 19 (born in Ohio, a milliner), married Wilson H. Hanna 22 born in Indiana, in Branch County June 15, 1908.
In 1920 Clark County, Ohio, Wilson is farming, 32, Bessie H. 31, with Robert 6 Ohio, and Glader J. 4, Ohio.
Burton Emmett Immel 1898-1986 is buried in Buffalo, Wyoming # 102935058.
Harry Vern Immel 1883-1944 is buried in Branch County # 111213972.
