Gottfried Wilhelm and Bertha (Bachman) Hahn
Bertha's parents Fredrick Bachman 1852-1924 # 54750006 and Katharina Rosczek Bachman 1854-1936 # 54750080 are buried in Morrison County, Minnesota.
In 1900 Johnson County, Nebraska, Gottfried born October 1876 in Germany, married two years to Bertha Dec 1874 Minnesota, have Theodore August 1895 Minnesota, and Bertha June 1898 Minnesota.
In 1910 Yuma County, "William" is 33, born in Minnesota, Berthan 35 - second marriage) with Theodore 14, Bertha 11, Willie 9, Carl 6 - both born in Nebraska, and daughter two months. Sister-in-law Anna Carls 18 married zero years has one child two months old "uncle by marriage."

1912 "G. W. Hahn, living north of town, brought in a display of flowers,
fruits and vegetables yesterday that are surprising to a great many of our people,
and shows what can be done in Western Yuma county by those who try. Mr. Hahn homesteaded his place less than three years ago, but to see his trees and shrubbery one would hardly believe so much could be accomplished in so short a time."
Gottfried proved up a quarter in 13, 3N 48W in 1913. Claimant names as witnesses : William G. Crammer, James M. Moyer. James E. Muir and Eugene S. Dakan. all of Yuma, Colorado.
September 26, 1913 "G. W. Hahn. one of Western Yuma county's most successful farmers,
met with a painful accident last Friday at his home, six miles northeast of town.
As he was climbing into a wagon his foot slipped off the wheel and he fell heavily to the ground.
He threw out his hands to break the fall. His arms proved too weak for the strain,
and his left wrist was broken, while the right was dislocated. Mr. Hahn's many friends will be glad to learn that the broken bone is rapidly knitting
and he will probably be in as good as ever soon."
A 1914 tour by foreign press included "At G. W. Hahn's a thirty-minute stop will be made, where H. W. Campbell, the Burlington better-tillage expert, will give a talk on scientific tillage.

1915 "Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Hahn returned Sunday from a few days visit with relatives at Eckley and Wray."
He registered for WWI with a Yuma address, born October 16, 1876, naturalized, reference Bertha Hahn of Yuma.
1917 "G.W. Hahn has sold the half-section south of his home to G.R. McLeran, of Chicago.
In 1924 "A tornado passed through the east end of Washington County Monday. According to Mrs. G.W. Hahn who lives one-half mile north of Otis, it assumed the regular funnel shape and was coal black."

THEODORE
In 1920 Washington County, Colorado, Theodore is 24, farming and living alone.
In 1930 Otis, Colorado, Theodore is a hardware salesman, 33, with Florence K. 24 and May M. 9.
In 1940 Wray, Theodore is a mechanic, 44, with Florence 34 Nebraska, and Mae M. 19 Colorado. All were in Otis Colorado in 1935.

Theodore 1897-1978 # 92509429 and Florence C. Hahn 1904-1978 # 50790301 are buried in Yuma.
Mae Marie Kofoed 1921-2001 is buried in Yuma, # 50933998, with Paul Kofoed 1921-2002. married Mach 1, 1942.
She was born March 23, 1921 at Otis to Theodore Hahn and Florence K. Schleeter.
BERTHA
Charles Arthur Taylor registered for WWI in Yuma, born Sept 3, 1889 at Kensington Kansas, with a wife and child. He said he had served eight months as a coal passer in the navy.
In 1930 Phelps County, Nebraska, Bertha E. is an egg breaker in a canning factory, 30, married to Arthur Taylor, a day laborer, 40, with Raymond 13 born in Colorado, Bufford 11 Nebraska, and Earl H. 6, both Nebraska.
In 1940 Vancouver, Washington, Bertha is 41, divorced, with Raymond 23, BUford 21 and Earl H. 16.
She married Vern Faneuf in Clark County, Washington January 8, 1943.
Bertha Elizabeth Taylor, born June 8, 1898 in Little Falls, Minnesota to Gottfried W. Hahn and Bertha A. Bachman, died December 1988 - She was listed as Taylor in 1938, adn in 1960 as Faneuf.
She's buried in Vancouver, Washington # 72931296, with Vern J. 1892-1977.
WILLIAM
William G. Hahn married Wilma A. Hein May 12, 1925, recorded in Lincoln County, Colorado.

CARL
In 1907 Washington County, Colorado, William J. Mashall is 46 born in Ohio, Annie 42 in Pennsylvania, with Lee 23, Bernice J. 17, James O. 14, Bessie M. 12, Cora M. 10, Frieda M. J. 9, and Mildred 7, all kids born in Nebaska.
William 1873-1941 and Anna 1877-1967 are buried in Washington County, Nebraska. When he died his daughter was Mrs. Bessie Hahn of Freewater, Oregon.
William's # 44810342 says "Born August 20, 1873, in Ada, Ohio, Mr. Marshall came to Nebraska with his parents some 60 years ago. He was married to Miss Anna M. Price May 21, 1894.
Surviving are his wife, Anna; five daughters, Mrs. Mildred Grothusen of Los Angeles, Mrs. Bessie Hahn of Freewater, Oregon, Mrs. Victoria Otte of Elkhorn, Mrs. Freda Hester of Arlington and Mrs. Cora Masters, Sioux City; two sons, James Marshall of Arlington and Lee of Venice, California; one brother, Ollie Marshall, of Kennard; five sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Crandall of Missouri, Mrs. Della Crandall of Arkansas, Mrs. Cora Christian of Wichita, Kansas, Mrs. Ida Sutton and Mrs. Lydia Sutton, both of Oklahoma. There are 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
