Frederick W. Delaforgue
Frederick W. Delaforgue, age 27, married Julie M. Cavanaugh, age 22, in Webster County, Nebraska.
September 1883 Red Cloud, Nebraska "For cheap, good sweet corned beef go to Deleforgue & Sellers, Mosher's old stand."
November 1884 
In February 1885 F. Laforgue of Paris arrived at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco.
In 1885 Riverton, Franklin County, Nebraska, Fred Wm. De Le Forgue is a butcher 28, born in France, with Julia 24 born in Ireland.
In 1886 Wallace Foster was a witness for the claim of William A. Gardner, along with Frederick Delaforgue, Leonhard Schuck and Alexander I. Meyer, all of Yuma.
Julia Delaforgue "Wife of Fred Delaforgue" died September 1887, aged 26 years, buried in Red Willow County, Nebraska # 13015637.
In 1887 Denver, Fred. W. Delaforgue is a butcher, living in Elyria (an area in Denver).
In 1889 Frederick William Delaforgue had a naturalization record, arriving 1889 in Coloado.
Frederick cash-claimed a quarter in 26, 3N 48W, about ten miles northeast of Yuma, Colorado, in 1892, near a number of 1890-1891 cash claimants.
Fred W. DeLaforgue married Mrs. Elenora Davish, about age 44, both of Clatsop County, Oregon, in Multnomah County, Oregon in 1907.
Ella Dalton was 15 in 1880 Multnomah County, born in England, with Evard 40a nd Elisa 38, an d sister Marie 13.
In 1900 Clatsop County, Ella Davich was married 15 years, but no spouse, born August 1865, with Eva Sept 1886 and Pearl Sept 1890.
Eva is a "Mangle Laundry"
"There were 2 or 3 Croatians in Astoria before 1880 but the first who seems to have stuck around was Nick Devich (also spelled Davich and Devisch) who owned a restaurant there in 1881"
1887 Astoria "In the police count yesterday Nick Davich was fined $5 for striking Long Gut Then Nick Davich had Long Gut arrested for alleged abusive language. The defendant, who labors for Boo Wow. had You Nom as interpreter. He was discharged."
In 1910, Frederick is a butcher in Portland - born in Germany, immigrating 1889?, married once to Ella -her second. She's English, 45, immigrating in 1868, a landlady of a rooming house, having had four kids, two living. Eva 22 and Pearl M. 19 were both born in Oregon.
Ella is widowed in 1920 Oregon, 51, with Eva 32 a department store buyer, and Pearl 24, a millinery trimmer.
Funeral services for Mrs. E. LaForgue, 2132 N.W. Glisan street, will be Friday at 2:30 P.M. at the J.P. Finley & Son chapel.
Mrs. LaForgue, who died Wednesday after a heart attack, was a pioneer Portland resident having made the trip around the horn from London with her parents when she was 3 years old. She was the daughter of late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Dalton and a member of the Trinity Episcopal church.
Surviving are two daughters: Mrs. G.S. Shute of Portland and Mrs. E. G. Webber, Madras, and a nephew, A.D. Wilcox of Salem.

October 8, 1944 "Mrs. Maria Wilcox, 77, of 840 N. Summer, died at Salem General hospital Saturday.
Mrs. Wilcox was born in Portland, Oregon, March 6, 1867, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Dalton, of Portland's pioneer families.
She was married to Marion Wilcox. Wilcox died in 1907. A son, Chester M. Wilcox died in 1918 while member of AEF in World War I.
Mrs. Wilcox was a member of Eastern Star Chapter, Salem War Mothers and Episcopal church.
She was a resident of Salem for many years.
Survivors include a son, A. D. Wilcox of Salem, and sister, Mrs. Ella LaForgue of Portland.
Funeral services will, be held Tuesday, with burial in Riverview cemetery in Portland."
Pearl A. Shute is in Portland in 1930, with John S., both 24. Her father was born in France, mother in England.
Eva Mae Weber is in Portland in 1930, 40, married but no spouse, living in a hotel.
Eva Mary Weber 1888-1960 is buried in Portland # 121199021 - a different cemetery than her mother.
