Carl died in Berrien County August 27, 1940 "farm resident for 37 years on his 80-acre property north of Watervliet and for 15 years operator there with his son of a gladioli farm and nursery, native of Sweden and a lifelong Republican after coming to this country at the age of 17."

She married Earl Buttery in Detroit June 16, 1912.
She married Coda D. Doolittle in 1941, divorced him in 1944.
Frederick A. Aspergren registered for WWI in Covert, Michigan, saying he was born May 12, 1891 at Denver, farming fo his father.
He's buried in Berrien County 1891-1959 # 38081554, with Florence 1901-1992.
"Frederick Aaron Aspengren, 68, of route 1, Covert, died Sunday afternoon
in Lake View Community hospital, Paw Paw, where he hud been a patient for several days.
He was born May 12, 1891, in Denver, Colo., the son of Carl and Olive Aspengren.
He and his wife, Florence, operated Aspengren's Nursery on the Toquin road south of Covert.
Besides his wife, survivors include two brothers, August, of Columa and Walter, of Watervliet.
a sister. Mrs. Lydia Anderson, of Hockford."
