born November 1873 in Illinois, a hostler helper. He's living with widowed mother born September 1844 in Illinois,. Janice/ Jennie was born December 1885 in Texas.
Jane Wilkins
In 1900 Clay County, Kansas, Earnest Chambers is a plasterer, born Feb 1867 in England, with Fannie April 1875 in Kansas, have Edith March 1890, Claude UJune 1892, Bryan Sept 1895, and Bernice September 1898, all kids born in Kansas.
J.W. Wilkins, 23, married Edith Chambers, 18 on May 20, 1907 in Geary County, Kansas. Both were of Milford, Kansas.
In 1910 Wray, John is a homesteader, boarding with the Joseph Graham family on Antelope Street - over 15 miles from his claim.
He's 36, born in Kansas, married but no spouse.
Edith Wilkins, 20, is also in Wray in 1910, boarding with the James Drummond family on South Street. She's 20, born in Kansas, married three years John E. 2 is with her.
June 2, 1911 "Mrs. Jack Wilkins went up to Denver yesterday
where she will be a guest at the wedding of her friend, Miss Frances Robinson
, formerly of this city, her marriage to occur next Sunday."
October 1912 
October 17, 1912 "Claude Chambers returned to his home in Junction City,
Kansas, last night after spending a short time visiting his sister,
Mrs. Jack Wilkins, southeast of town."
September 1913 
February 1916 "Mr. and Mrs. Jack Wilkins came in from their ranch eighteen
miles northeast of Wray Monday. The former went back the same day,
taking with him a load of lumber for building cattle sheds. Mrs. Wilkins
remained over until Tuesday as a guest in the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Norman,
of Wray."
John proved up 320 acres in sections 4 and 5, 3 North 44 West, in 1917.
July 1918 
October 10, 1918 "Mrs. O. K. Crain left Friday evening for her home
in Pittsburg, Kansas, after several weeks visit with her daughters,
Miss Bernice Chambers and Mrs. Jack Wilkins."
October 17, 1918 "Mr. and Mrs. Jack Wilkins are happy
over the arrival of a fine baby girl born to them Saturday morning."
July 1919 
In 1920 Yuma County, John is farming, 46, born in Arkansas, married
to Edith 29 born in Kansas. John E. is 11, born in Kansas, Ruth H. 1 born in Colorado.
July 20, 1922 
In 1930 Yuma County, John is ranching, 56, born in Arkansas,
both parents born in Ilinois. Edith is 40, John J. 22, and Ruth 11.
Leona Wilber 21, a school teacher, is boarding with them.
John 1873-1961 is buried in Wray # 63495128, with Edith L. 1890-1978 # 63491387.
JACK
Jack Wilkins, Jr. married Alma Hougan on July 24, 1931, recorded in Douglas County, Colorado.
In 1940 Wray, Jack E. Wilkins is 32, born in Kansas, married to Elma M. 30 born in Nebraska.
John E. Wilkins, born March 23, 1908, died September 9, 1997, last residence Shawnee Mission, Kansas.
Lester Hougan's 1998 obituary said that his sister Elma Haun of Wray survived.

Ruth Wilkins and Harold E. Krebiel (Kreihbiel in the East Yuma history) married in Holyoke, Colorado on October 30, 1936.
Jack Wilkins's nice story says she then married William Vahrig and lived in Texas.
William Fredrick Fahrig died in Midland County, Texas on February 19, 2000.
He's buried in Midland 1926-2000 # 80620129, with Ruth Bernice Fahrig 1918-2007 # 80620936.
"Ruth Fahrig passed away Tuesday, November 27th, at age 89. She was born October 10, 1918 in Wray, Colorado. Ruth married Bill Fahrig in 1952. She worked in many capacities, and for the U.S. Government for many years.
Ms. Fahrig was an avid Bridge player. She became a Bridge Director in 1960 and directed many games in West Texas. She was a Cruise Director for five years for Princess Cruise Lines. Ruth was a Life Master of Bridge and had received the Texas Star Award for Bridge. She cherished all the many friends she made in the Bridge world. Ruth was also a long-time member of the Exxon Ladies' Club and organized many of their events over the years. She was also a Board member of the Polo Park Homeowners Association for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Fahrig, her father and mother, Jack and Edith Wilkins, and a brother, Jack Wilkins, Jr.
Services for Ms. Fahrig will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 1, 2007 at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel in Midland with Reverend K. C. Blackketter of Our Savior's Lutheran Church of Midland officiating. Interment will be at Andrews Memorial Cemetery in Andrews, Texas with no graveside service. Honorary pallbearers will be Bob Berry, Jim Clanahan, Stan Garrison, Charlie Grimes and Barry Petty. Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home. NANCY
Nancy proved up 320 acres in sections 4 and 9, 3 North 44 West, in 1923. Her witnesses were Frank A. Brown, William A. Cox, Lewis L. Corwin, and Hiram Cumley, all of Wray.
She was delinquent on taxes on that land in 1923.
Mrs. Jane Wilkins, born September 23, 1844 in Illinois to father Traylor, died in Fort WorthTexas August 5, 1931, widow of J. W. Wilkins.
Jane was buried in Greenwood Cemetery # 116126005.
The informant was J. P. Roberts of the same address, 1817 Belle Place, Fort Worth.
Jennie Lorena Roberts, born December 21 1885 in Texas to John William Wilkins and Nancy Jane Taylor, died May 22, 1976,
to be buried in Greenwood.
