Martha Corilla Bennett was born August 10, 1851 in Ohio County, Kentucky, and died June 16, 1916.She married John Butler Rowan April 11, 1869.
April 16, 1897 Hartford, Kentucky " Mr. Clem Maple and Miss Ada Rowan, two of the most popular
young people of the Ikdu community, were married at the home of the.."
In 1900 Ohio County, Kentucky, Clem is farming, born May 1863,
married three years to Ada Dec 1873, with Theodore B. Feb 1898. Sam Rowan 22 is with them, all born in Kentucky.
May 1906 
In June 1906 Clem Maple of Wray Colorado attended an Ohio County, Kentucky homecoming.
December 7, 1906 "Mr. Maple, who has been living on the Cunningham place,
left a few days ago for his old home in Kentucky."
Clem MAPLE cash-claimed 160 acres in section 33, 3 North 44 West, in 1911.
February 18, 1910 "Clem Maple, wife and children left Monday morning on No. 33 for
Edgewater, Colorado. Mr. Maple has been engaged to attend an alfalfa farm
the coming year at that place. The Maples have made many friends here
who regret their departure."
Clem is in the 1910 Jefferson County, Colorado census, 47, born in Indiana, married 13 years to Ada 38 Kentucky. Theodore 12 was born in Kentucky, Yuma M. 3 in Colorado.
They're back in Ohio County, Kentucky in 1920, 1930, and 1940.
" He was born at Jeffersonville, Clark County, Indiana on 3 May 1863,
son of George J. Maple and Mary Elizabeth _____ (both from Jefferson Co KY).
Adabelle and Clem lived in Ohio Co for years,
They died at their daughter's home at Yuma, CO: Adabelle on 20 May 1946 (Ada died in Ohio County, Kentucky)
and Clem on 13 October 1946. (Clem died in Ohio County, son of George Mapel and Mary Bettie Bryant, both born in Kentucky. The informant was Theodore Mapel of Hartford.)"

August 13, 1961 "Mrs. Yuma Porter of Hartford, Ky., Route 2, says the leaves of her African violet grow downward instead of outward, even though they have good color. She keeps them in front of a large east window but does not let the sun shine on -them. What's wrong? Will one of our African violet growers come to Mrs. Porter's assistance?"
October 1965 " Belle Daniel visited her cousin, Mrs. Yuma Porter in the Ohio County Hospital."
May 27, 1973 Hartford, Kentucky "Mrs. Yuma Mapel Porter, 66, died here Friday.
Her husband, C. P. Porter, survives. Funeral, 2 p.m. Sunday, Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home "

Yuma Wray Maple was born 31 October 1906 at Wray, Yuma County, Colorado.
She married Clivie P. Porter at Owensboro, Kentucky on 26 March 1932. He was born at Echols in Ohio Co on 27 February 1907, son of Hardin A Porter and Mary Jane Cummings.
