THIS IS NOT THE WILLIAM H. JOHNSTON OF PLEASANT VALLEY
In 1914 William was a witness for the claim of Emma L. Arnold in section 23. Other witnesses were Frank E. Carson, Raymond Mullison, and Ctherine Carson.
February 1915 "Mrs. W. H. Johnston, who lives northwest of Wray,
was a visitor in Wray last Friday and Saturday. She was a guest in the home
of Mrs. Peter Campbell."
William proved up 320 acres in section 14, 3 North 44 West, in 1916.
1915 "Miss Lura Johnson came down from Fort Collins yesterday morning, called here by the death of her grandfather,
the late Peter Campbell.
