Lewis Miller is farming in 1906 Hitchcock County, Nebraska, with an address of Trenton, arriving 1884.

In 1910 Hayes County, Lewis is 56, Effie J. 47, Freeman R. 19, Louis Ross 18, Ethel L. 16, Frankie S. 14, Noble D. 12, Mable V. 10, David L. 9, Bessie E. 7, and Iona R. 3, all kids born in Nebraska.
Louis Franklyn "Frank" Miller, per # 12107291 is buried in Palisade, Nebraska 1854-1920.
Effie Jane 1862-1911 is also buried there, # 12146621.
In 1920 Hitchcock County, Lewis is 66, Gertrude 40, Mable is 20, Dave L. 18, Bessie E. 16, Iona 13, Aldean 5, and stepdaughter s Emma E. Armstrong is 12, Opal N. Armstrong 10.
In 1930 Hitchcock County, Gertrude is 52, Carrie E. 15, Opal R. Carey 20, and her daughter Betty P, 2.

Edgar is in Taney County, Missouri in 1900, born October 1885 in Missouri, with parents Clark W. Nov 1861 Indiana and Mary E. Oct 1862 Illinois. Brother Harper Oct 1895 was born in Missouri.
All four are in Hitchcock County, Nebraska in 1910. In 1923 Clark and Mary are in Eureka California, farming. Glenn H. (Iva) is a driver.
In 1928 Eureka Clark W. (Mary E. ) live at 1085 I, no occupation, and G. Harper Spencer is a drive for Seely & Titlow.

Mary might be the one in Humboldt County, Calidornia in 1930, married but no spouse, managing an apartment house. G. H. 34 (widowed) and C.W. 69 (married but no spouse) are in Siskiyou County, California in 1930. G. H. is a dairy farmer.

Glenn Harper Spencer registered for WWI in Hitchcock County, Nebraska, born Sept 20, 1896. He's buried in Yreka, California 1896-1992 # 15106433.


Edgar proved up 320 acres in 17 and 18 3N 43W, in 1919.

In 1920 Lansing precinct, Yuma County, Edgar is 34, born in Missouri, Maude J. 30 Nebraska, Ardith 8 Nebraska, and Ester E. 6 Nebraska.

In 1930 Yuma County, Edgar is farming, 43, Maude J. 41, Ardith 18, and Ester E. 16.
Maude was also in the 1930 census, an inmate at the Colorado State Hospital.


In 1940 Yuma County, Edgar H. Spencer 54 is farming, Maude J. 51, with no kids.

May 2, 1940 "Funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon at 1:30 p. m. at the Hitchcock Funeral home for Mrs. E. H. Spencer who died at her farm home south of Wray on Friday, April 26. The lecture service was conducted by Mrs. M. M. Bulkeley. Interment was made in the Armel cemetery.
Maude J. Miller was born on March 6, 1889 near Hays Center, Neb., and died on April 26, at Wray, Colo. She was married to E. H. Spencer on Aug. 28, 1910, who survives her along with her two daughters, Mrs. Ardith Wilcox of Montague, Calif., and Mrs. Esther Goss of Vernon. She is survived by five brothers and five sisters and several grandchildren. She was devout to the Christian faith and a faithful mother."
Maude J. (Miller) Spencer is buried in Armel # 81884610, 1889-1940.

Edgar Spencer died August 1976 - SSN issued in California, last residence Canon City, Colorado.
Edgar Henry Spencer is buried in Canon City 1885-1976 # 110588282 "Spencer, Edgar and Goldie"
Goldie 1895-1988 # 110588530.
August 19, 1976 Greeley "Edgar Henry Spencer, 90, of Canon City was killed when the car he was riding in crashed into another auto which had stopped for a survey crew."

In 1940 Siskiyou County, California, Chester H Wilcox is 47, Ardith I. 28, both born in Nebraska. They have three-month Chester C. and Ardith's son Wayne S. Clark, 6, born in California.

Ardith Izeta Spencer was born May 22, 1911 at Palisade Nebraska, died as Wilcox on August 3, 2005 in Jackson County, Oregon, spouse Chester. She's buried in Yreka, California # 12764677.
" She was married to Grant Clark in 1933 & the couple had one son. She married Chester Wilcox in 1938 & they had two sons. She lived all of her married life in Yreka, California. She had one sister. "
Wayne married Alice Hammond, and they had Wayne Quincy Clark in 1961, dying Sept 17, 2009.

Chester C. Wilcox married Dorothy Jerland of Eureka in 1965.
Among the guests were Mr. and Mrs. Wayne S. Clark, Harper Spencer of Yreka, Mr. and Mrs. ??iud Spencer, Redding,
Esther Spencer of Brewster, Thomas County, Kansas married Harold A. Smith of Logan County, Kansas September 24, 1935, recorded in Kit Carson County, Colorado. - so this doesn't seem likely.



NOBLE MILLER
In 1930 Armel precinct, Yuma County, Noble D. Miller is 31, Lucinda 26, Viola B. 10, Raymond 8, Ray 8, and Clifford 5, all six born in Nebraska.

In 1937 Noble is living five miles south of Eckley, with Lucinda. They have Viola, Raymond, Ray, and Clifford.

Noble is farming in 1940 Yuma County, 42, Lucinda 38, Viola 20, Raymond C. 18, Ray L 18, and Clifford 15.
August 1944 "Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Miller and family and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Gant and family of Wray had Sunday dinner in the parental Noble Miller home in Eckley."
October 1947 Mr. and Mrs. Noble Miller had as dinner guests, Mr. Mill's brother and wife and wie of Wray, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Miller and their son, Raymond Miler and family of Wray, and son and sdaughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Miler of Eckley.
Noble 1897-1947 is buried in Eckley # 53151171, with Lucina E.(Lamb) Miller 1903-1975.
Lucinda's parents Hiram 1871-1943 and Alberta (Beechley) Barnts 1876-1947 are also buried in Eckley.


FRANK MILLER

Frank Elsworth Miller registered for WWI with an address of Culbertson Nebraska, born July 6, 1896 at Palisade Nebraska, farming, with a wife and child.

Frank is farming in 1920 Hitchcock County, 24, with Anna M. 23 both born in Nebraska.
Lawrence L. is 3, and Alberta A. is 1. Lynne A. and Janett Barnes, just married, a house painter, are rooming with them.

In 1930 Wray, Frank is a teamster, 34, Anna 33, Lawrence 13, "Alberta" A. 11, Heralden 9, Junior 7, Emerson E. 5, Robert E. 3, and Phyllis N. Loth, five months is a daughter.

He's not likely the Frank Miller in 1934 Yuma County, living in section 28, 2N 43W. This one was married to Eva in 1937, with Francis and Pauline.
This was also a Frank Ellsworth Miller, son of Charles Miller.


In 1940 Wray, Frank doesn't have an occupation, 44, Anna M. 43, Junior 18, Emerson E. 15, Robert E. 13, Lewis 9, and Beverly J. 5.

They might be the Frank 1895-1976 # 26078690 and Anna 1896-1967 # 26078689 buried in Sutter Creek, California.

Emerson Elsworth Miller 1924-2010 is buried in Fort Bliss # 126858855.

J. Keith Miller, 88, went to meet his Lord and Savior on March 24, 2011 with his family gathered around him. Keith was born on April 22, 1922 in Trenton, NE to Frank E. Miller and Anna Mabel (Dent) Miller. He joined two brothers (Lawrence and Harold) and one sister (Alverta).

Later, he was joined by three more brothers (Emerson, Bob and Lewis) and one more sister (Beverly). When Keith was six months old, his family moved to Wray, CO. At the age of 16, Keith and his older brother (Harold) went to Parshall, CO to work with an uncle on a ranch. While working on this ranch, Keith met and later married, Priscilla Mae McQueary. They were married on September 10, 1941. On May 7, 1943, Keith and Priscilla were blessed with a daughter, Priscilla Joan Miller. Later that year, Keith was called into the NAVY CB’s. He spent three years in the service. On September 8, 1946, Keith and Priscilla were blessed with a son, David Keith Miller and on November 5, 1947, they were blessed with a second son, Johnny Lee Miller. ln 1962, Keith became a licensed minister and pastored his first church in Steamboat Springs, CO. ln 1977, Keith became an ordained minister and moved with Priscilla to Twin Falls, ID to pastor the Faith Assembly of God. Keith's later years were spent filling in for other ministers and doing some work as an evangelist. He became a chaplain at the hospital and visited many in nursing homes.

He was preceded in death by his father (Frank), mother (Anna), two brothers(Emerson and Harold) one sister (Alverta). He is survived by his wife, Priscilla, daughter, Joan, two sons, David and his wife Marie, and John, five grandchildren, Jennifer (Devon) Cruise, Jade (Tahnee) Puckett, Robert Miller , Anna Miller and Priscilla Marie Miller, four great grandchildren, Bryon Cruise, Taylor Cruise, Regan Puckett, and Jaelyn Puckett.) Also, numerous family and friends.

There will be a memorial service held on September 10, 2011. Details will be announced at a later date. ln lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

All services and arrangements are under the direction of the Parke’s Magic Valley Funeral Home of Twin Falls, Idaho.

Ernest Harold Miller was born May 28, 1920 at Trenton, Nebraska, and died March 1979.

He's buried in Wray # 65274998, next to Larry H. Miller 1952-1970 "WWII". The spot next to him is not recorded as of 2011.

In 1940 Grand County, Colorado, E. Harold Miller is 19, born in Nebraska, a ranch laborer, rooming wtih Marion Mather 24 and Frank Jesmer 22. Harold was in Yuma County in 1935.

Lewis Addison Miller, known by many as Doc Miller or just Doc, passed into spirit on September 17, 2015, at the age of 84 years of a full life.

Doc was born in Wray, Colo., on December 10, 1930. He earned his BS and DVM from Colorado State University and served in the United States Army. Upon graduating from Veterinary School, he moved with family to Walnut. He served the farmers of Southwest Iowa for almost 50 years. He loved helping people and their animals, many times not charging for his services. His personal interests included pigeons and growing flowers and plants. He was active in flower clubs and showed pigeons taking his grandsons, Greg and Joe with him, but passing his love of pigeons onto his grandson Joe.

He is survived by his children, Patricia Hetrick and her husband, Philip Hetrick, Martha Miller and her wife, Jennifer Miller and Olin Miller and his partner Kelly Lundgren. Doc loved his grandchildren, Joe Hetrick and wife, Amy Hetrick and Greg Hetrick and wife, Sarah Hetrick; as well as his great grandchildren, Bella, Betty, Adelyn and Carter Hetrick. Bella and Adelyn have both talked about becoming veterinarians just like their Grandpa Miller. He is also survived by his brother, Robert Miller and his wife, Meredith; and sister, Beverly Grant.

The family is very grateful for the long friendship of Henry and Margie Bibeau. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed in Southwest Iowa and in his hometown of Wray, Colo. Services will be at a later date in Wray, Colorado per his wishes with family and friends.
Lawrence "Larry" Miller passed away September 7, 2015 at the age of 98. He is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Hazel and is survived by his sons Lyle(Sharon) and Gary(Danella); grandchildren Nancy, Barbara, Cindy(Steve), Rob and Joe; great grandson's Tanner and Parker; brother's Lewis and Bob(Meredith); sister Beverly Grant; and sister in-law Virginia.
Lawrence Miller was blessed to have had a long and fulfilled life. Larry was born in Hays Center, Nebraska and grew up in Wray, Colorado. He was the oldest of eight children. In his younger years, he was meat cutter in Sterling and Wray before moving to Denver to work for the General Iron Works. He retired from the General Iron Works in 1981 and started his own small engine repair service.
He loved to travel, garden, fish and tinker in the garage. On any given day you could find him out and about in his yard or sitting on the back patio enjoying the view of his garden. He loved to be in the garage working or teaching his grandkids/great-grandkids how to build just about anything. Larry had the most infectious smile, which always made you smile when you saw him.


In 1962 Sutter Creek, California, Bob and Merideth Miller participated in the formation of the vocal group. Bob Miler let d the Choraliers for 32 years, retiring in 1996.
2006 Amador County California "A call of a vehicle into a building on Court Street in Jackson had emergency personnel scrambling to the scene. 71 year-old Meredith Miller of Sutter Creek was parking her car in a stall at Kit Carson Convalescent Hospital yesterday when her foot slipped off the brake and onto the accelerator. Her car smashed though the building. No one was injured in the crash. "

"Meredith Miller and her husband, Bob, started attending Trinity Church eight years ago. She worked as a nurse and was the nurse administrator of Kit Carson Rehabilitation Facility for many years. Now retired, she would like to share her administrative skills and practical thinking as a member of the vestry. She is currently a member of the Health Ministry Board and is in charge of the medical supply closet. She also is very generous in providing food and cookies as she shares her gift of hospitality with her church family. Meredith will be serving a two-year term. "
