Joseph Alonzo "Joe" and Nellie Rhoads, Laird

In 1885 York County Nebraska Joseph Rhoads is nine months old, and in 1900 he's with Alonzo L. 53 and Nellie E. 47 Rhoads in Chase County, Nebraska.  He was born January 1885, and has brothers Frank O., 21 nad Elmer O. 12.

Joe Alonzo Rhoads registered with an Alvin address, saying he was born January 6, 1885, and was with Lelly B. Rhoads by Laird.

In 1920 Chase County they're with brother Frank - *AL Rhoads, 35, Zilly B. 28, Donald J.6, and Gerald A. two months.

Somehow he proved up two quarters in 2 and 11, 3N 43W in 1921.

In 1930 Yuma County Joseph A. is 45, Lillie B. 38, and they've been married 17 years.  They have Donald J. 16, son Jessie A. 10, Goldie J. 9, - all three Nebraska - and Junior L. seventeen months - Colorado.  So Lillie was back in Nebraska for a lot of the time.  

Joseph is working on roads for the WPA in 1940 Wray, living on Franklin Street.  He and Lillie B. have Gerald A. 20- a farm laborer,  Goldie 19, and Junior 11.
