Reuben was living alone in 1880 Harrison County Missouri, 25.
There's a Flora Wheeler in 1880 Gentry County Missouri, 19, daughter of Wilson and Sophia Wheeler. She's buried in Gentry County - born May 22, 1860 - with husband James H. Harrison 1870-1946. But the funeral home records say she's Flora W, born in Denver. father William, mother Sapphire.
Pauline Elizabeth Hall was born October 8, 1884 in Harrison County to Reuben Datson Hall and Flora Elizabeth Hall, and died November 6, 1884. (Reubon DOTSON Hall, father, was a blacksmith)

Be it known that I, REUBEN D. HALL, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of New Hampton, in the county of Harrison and State of Missouri, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Force-Pumps; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, which will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, which form a part of this y specification, and in which Figure l is a vertical sectional view of my improved doubleacting pump. Fig. 2 is a similar view of the lower part of the same on an enlarged scale, and Fig. 3 is a perspective View of the double piston. |
In 1887 New Hampton , Reuben D. Hall was a blacksmith and wagon-maker.
John G. Hall was born in New Hampton August 10, 1888 to Rubin D. and Flora E. (Wheeler) Hall.
Reuben was in New Hampton Missouri in 1888 when he got a patent for a cultivator
In 1900 Gage County, Nebraska Reuben, a blacksmith born June 1854, is widowed, with Charles W. Feb 1883 a day laborer and John B. Aug 1888 at school- all Missouri.
Flora might be the Mrs. Flora E. Wheeler who married Miles E. Doran September 29, 1900 in Kansas City.
In 1910 Reuben is in Yuma County, 55, Missouri, and son John B. Hall, 22, also Missouri, are farming, and Charles W. 27 and Martha 33 Hall Illinois are the next household. Martha's had one child, living, but not on this census.
Charles and Reuben were both witnesses in 1910 for neighbor Hiram Lillibridge's claim.
Rueben (sic) homesteaded 320 acres in 1 and 12, 3N 43W in 1916, and Charles a cash-claim of 80 acres in 12 in 1911.
Reuben was a witness for neighbor Guy R. Cadwallader's claim in 1913.
Reuben didn't pick up his mail in 1915 at the Wray post office.
In 1914 Alvin news "Charles Hall has been sick with the grippe."
In 1930 Hall County Nebraska Charles W. is a golf professional, 47, Martha is 64 (it's clearly 64), and Carrie Flock, step-daughter 42 Nebraska. (Carrie was in Frontier County, Nebraska in 1920, married to Alfred, a farmer, and five kids are with them.
Carrie 1884-1936 and Alfred a 1875-1964 are on a stone in Frontier County -
In 1920 Laramie Wyoming J.B. Hall, a boilermaker for the Union Pacific, is 34, married to Vera 24, with Louise 6, Alton 5, George 2, and Levan four months.
In 1930 Marshall County Kansas John B. is a foreman at a boiler factory. He and Vera V. have Vera L. 16, John E. 15, George B. 13 and Lavonne V. 10, all kids born in Nebraska.
They're in Gering Nebraska in 1940, John still a boilermaker for the railroad, and the only have Lucella 26, a clerk in the treasurer's office, with them.
