Stepchildren Nellie Armstrong Aug 1880, Bessie Sept 1883, Charles Aug 1885, and John June 1888, all four born in Iowa, are with them.

In 1920 Yuma County, Mabelle is 23, born in Nebraska, with Lloyd 26 born in Missouri.
Lloyd proved up 320 acres in section 5, 2S 46W in 1920. Next to him, forty acres were still U.S. property. Lloyd farmed the remaining 600 acres in the section in 1922.
Mr. Mason built a store and platted a townsite he named "Happyville."
When he ran into troubles with the postmaster general about moving the
Happyville post office without permission he applied for a new post
office with Maybelle Tucker as postmaster. The Heartstrong post office
"officially" opened in May 1921 and operated until 1940.
April 1922 "Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Tucker and Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Gilmore and children, former residents of the Heartstrong neighborhood, left on the noon train yesterday, bound for Santa Ana California, at which place they expect to make their home."
In 1924 Lloyd L. a real estate agent, and Mabelle A. Tucker are in Anaheim, California, 604 Lacy Street.
Phebe A. Smith, age 69, died September 19, 1934 in Orange County.
Phoebe A. Patmor, daughter of Alfred and Annie Patmor, married Charles M. Smith on November 2, 1884 in Red Cloud, Nebraska.
Alfred N. Patmore 1842-1913 is buried in Santa Ana # 8722094.
He was widowed in 1900 and 1910 Santa Ana. His son Walter Sept 1878 in Kansas and Minella E. March 1879 Nebraska have Leola Oct 1899 Nebraska. Roy Patmor Dec 1884 Nebraska are with them.

of Jocumbias; Mrs. Pearl Thomas, of Red Cloud, Nebr;
Mrs. Mable Blake, of Santa Ana, and Mrs. Flossie Mae Gilmore
of Huntington Beach; sister of K. E. Patmor and Walter I. Patmor,
of Santa Ana, and Roy Patmor, of Watsonville;
grandmother of Mrs. Vera Skinner and Mrs. Mae Finley,
of Westminster, Charles A. Baker, of San Diego;
Miss Helen Thomas, of Red Cloud, Nebr.;
Elroy and Doris Ann Gilmore, of Huntington Beach,
and great grandmother of four great granddaughters.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p. m. from
Smith and Tuthill'e chapel."
Charles M. Smith died April 10, 1937 in Orange County.
"Charles M. Smith, 75, a native of Iowa, and a resident of Santa Ana for the past
17 years, died at his home at 710 East Sixth street, Saturday after an extended
illness. He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Grace Baker of Jacuinha;
Mrs. Pearl Thomas of Red Cloud, Nebr.; Mrs. Mabell Ann Blake and Mrs. Flossie Gilmore,
both of Santa Ana, besides eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held from the Smith and Tuthill chapel tomorrow
afternoon at 2 p. m. with the Rev. George Warmer officiating.
Interment will be in the Fairhaven cemetery."

Mabell is in Newport, Orange County in 1940, 44, born in Nebraska,
married to Elmer Blake, 47 Missouri (Elmer was widowed in 1930 Orange COunty)>
Bob 17 and Norma 15 were both born in Indiana.
Elmer Fletcher Blake, born Nov 1892 in Potosi, Missouri, registered for WWII in Las Vegas, Nevada. His reference ws Lucille McVey of Los Angeles.
Elmer died July 29, 1964 in San Diego County, mother's name Campbell.
Lloyd is in Orange County in 1940, 46, a mail carrier,
married but no spouse, with friend Pansy Kelly 54 Texas, a bookkeeper,
also married but no spouse. Lennie Wiley, is also a friend, a librarian 49 born in Arkansas, female.
Lloyd registered for WWII in Santa Ana, living at 112 E. Pine Street, with Miss Linnie Wylie of the same address as a reference.
California death index has Lloyd born October 7, 1893, dying March 22, 1984 in Orange County, mother's maiden name Farquhar.
One tree said "Mabel A. SMITH was born on 2/11/1896.
She married
Lahde. She died on 2/6/1981 in San Bernadino, California, at age 84"
The 1978 newspaper listing of the estate of Maybelle Annie Lahde might be because of incapacity, not death.
