In 1900 Holdrege, Nebraska, "Essrrah" Silver is 62, Elizabeth 60, Norman B. 25, Nellie M. 23, and Maude S. 19.
Norman B. Silvers, age 29, born in Wisconsin to Azariah Silver and Betsy Crompton, married Lilu McMorris, 19, born in Iowa to David and Annda Mashur
Norman and Lela are farming in Red Willow County, Nebraska in 1910, with Claud 1 and Aileen newborn.
Norman proved up two quarters in section 6, 2S 46W in 1916.
In 1920 Yuma County, Norman is 42, Lela C. 36, wtih Claude L. 11, and Aileen M. 10, both born in Nebraska. Garnet E. 8 was born in Colorado.
Norman and Lela are running a lunch car in 1930 Berthoud, Colorado. Garnet is married to Clarence Clifton running a pool hall.
Norman 1874-1942 is buried in Loveland,
with Lela Claire (McMurrin)(Silver) Buchanan 1883-1974 and her second huband Ryley M. Buchanan 1876-1961.
Clarence 47 and Garnett 29 are in Berthoud in 1940, with Betty Jean 9 and Janet 5.
Garnet E. (Silver)(Clifton)Parker 1912-2003 is buried in Loveland, as is Clarence 1893-1965
"Garnet E. Parker, 91, of Loveland, died July 6, 2003, at Hospice Care Center in Loveland.
She was born March 29, 1912, in Yuma County, Colo., to Norman B. and Lela McMurrin Silver. She graduated from Loveland High School. She married Clarence W. Clifton in 1929 in Berthoud. He preceded her in death in 1964. She then married Millard “Bill” Parker in 1967 in Longmont. He preceded her in death in 1993.
She worked in clothing sales for many years, retiring in 1967.
She was a former resident of Longmont and had lived in Loveland since 1993.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Rebekah Lodge, the VFW Women’s Auxiliary and Newcomers. She enjoyed music, dancing, writing poetry, and crocheting. She was a faithful Broncos fan, an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by two daughters, Betty Culver and Jan Littrell and husband Max, all of Loveland; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, one sister, and one granddaughter.
Cremation has been conducted."
